- Simon· April 12th, 2025I went back in July 2019 on my first Contiki and I enjoyed every single minute of it! I experienced a lot of things, from culture shock, to delicious and tasty cuisines, adjusting to life on the other side of the world. The people were also what made the trip very memorable; I enjoyed talking with them and doing things with them and by the end, I felt like we were also close to each other!! :) We saw a lot of amazing sites in different cities (Great Wall, Beijing, Xian, Pandas in Chengdu, hiking the mountains in Yangshuo, admiring the skyline in Shanghai, and so on) and even partying out until 2 am a couple of times! Jelly was a very sweet, funny, friendly, and knowledgable, and anyone would be really lucky to have as their Contiki group manager!! Once again, my first Contiki in China was very memorable and I have no regrets of it whatsoever. This is what also kicked me off traveling with Contiki in different parts of the world.Show more

Asked on January 12th, 2025Would like some clarification re end date please. Day 12 states 'flight to Seoul... South Korea trip complete'. But in 'Additional Services' mentions flight back to 'Seoul: one final night. One final meal together... BBQ'. The two seem to be contradictory. Could you please clarify?

We expect to arrive back in Seoul approximately 12 PM on Day 12 (March 18). You can certainly book your return flight home for that same afternoon. The preferred departure airport in Seoul is Incheon International Airport (ICN).

Asked on December 15th, 2024Is that a firm age range, or can older individuals do this tour as well? My husband and I are taking our daughters on a South Korean trip as a college graduation trip. So the ages for everyone in our party will be 50, 45, 21, and 20.

Contiki tours have an age restriction, and guests must be between 18-35 years old to be eligible to join. Unfortunately, as your age does not meet this requirement, we are unable to proceed with your reservation for a Contiki tour. However, we would like to recommend one of our sister brands - CostSaver which is open to all ages, and may be a great fit for you.

Asked on July 6th, 2024We are looking for South Korea tours for April/May 2025. We would like to visit Seoul/Hongdae/Gangnam/Jeju. Are there any trips that provides flexible schedule where we can roam around by ourselves then join the group after? We are not interested in KPOP classes, Taekwondo or DMZ. We simply want to roam around and sightsee.
