There was a lot of travelling and long days on the truck but the game viewing was worth it eg lions, a leopard, hippos, zebra, etc. Our guide was great, totally unflappable but more information regarding the day’s itinerary would have helped so we could plan what to eat for lunch, what to wear and when to charge camera batteries etc. But that’s only a minor gripe. The camping was better than expected, with no mosquitos or other creepy crawlies. The camp beds were too big for the tents and it was difficult to zip them up but Karabo, our guide, arranged to have the bed frames cut down slightly which helped a bit. Not sure why Intrepid didn’t test them out first!
