Kathmandu Valley UNESCO Heritage Sites
This day involves a guided tour hitting the UNESCO World Heritage Sites throughout Kathmandu Valley, including temples, stupas, and old palaces. You'll learn about Nepal's history and cultural background before heading out on the trek itself.

Kathmandu to Besisahar
You've got a seven-hour drive ahead through river valleys, hillside villages, and mountain landscapes. By evening you'll reach Besisahar, the official starting point for the Annapurna Circuit, and check into your hotel there.

Besisahar to Bahundanda
Your trek begins along winding trails past terraced farmlands and forests with small settlements scattered around. The path gradually climbs toward Bahundanda, giving you first views of the mountains and a look at how locals live in rural areas.

Bahundanda to Chamje

Chamje to Dharapani
You'll trek along the river, cross multiple bridges, and climb stone steps as the elevation increases. Pine forests start appearing as you move into cooler areas, and by day's end you'll reach Dharapani, your entry point to the Manang region.

Dharapani to Chame
Walking through alpine forests and villages with Tibetan culture influences, you'll see views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. The route takes you through scenic valleys until you reach Chame, the main district headquarters for Manang.

Chame to Pisang

Pisang to Manang
This stretch takes you along one of the trek's most scenic portions, passing monasteries, traditional villages, and alpine meadows. You'll arrive in Manang, a vibrant cultural hub with snowcapped peaks surrounding everything in sight.

Manang Acclimatization

Manang to Yak Kharka

Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi
This is a short but demanding walk that takes you closer to Thorong La Pass. The trail gets rocky and windy as you go up to Thorong Phedi, the last settlement before attempting the famous pass itself.

Thorong La Pass to Muktinath
This is the most difficult and rewarding day of the trek. You'll start very early to cross Thorong La Pass, then head down into Mustang's dry, dramatic terrain to reach Muktinath, which holds major religious significance.

Muktinath to Marpha

Tadapani to Ghandruk to Pokhara
