Itinerary
- Day 1
Rome
Your private driver picks you up at Rome airport and takes you to your hotel in central Rome. After you get settled in, the city is open for exploring on your own schedule. This is a good time to get your bearings and grab dinner somewhere nearby if you're not too tired from traveling.
- Day 2
Rome
Following breakfast, you'll have the day to check out Rome using your 24-hour hop-on hop-off bus pass. The bus hits 8 major spots like the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps, so you can hop off whenever something catches your eye. If you want more depth, there are optional guided tours available for the Vatican Museums or a skip-the-line Colosseum tour, though these cost extra.

Rome to Sorrento
Your hotel pickup happens early at 7:30 AM for the drive to Sorrento. During the transfer, you'll pass through the Italian countryside before reaching the Amalfi Coast, where the views really open up. After checking into your Sorrento hotel, the afternoon is yours to walk around town, check out the local artisan shops, and get a feel for the place. Dinner is included back at your hotel.

Sorrento
This morning you'll head out on a half-day guided tour to Pompeii with skip-the-line access. Your local guide walks you through the preserved Roman ruins from 79 AD, and you'll get personal earphones so you can hear everything clearly. After returning to Sorrento in the early afternoon, the rest of your day is free to relax or explore. Dinner is included at your hotel again.

Sorrento to Capri
After breakfast, a boat takes you to Capri. If the weather cooperates, you'll see the Blue Grotto where the water glows blue from sunlight reflecting off the cave walls. From there, you'll visit the Gardens of Augustus for views of the Faraglioni rock formations and Marina Piccola Bay. You'll have time for lunch and to wander around Capri before checking into your hotel.

Capri
Starting early, you can explore Capri however you want this day. Walk through the shops and restaurants, or head down to the Gulf of Naples for a swim. In case yesterday's weather didn't allow the Blue Grotto visit, you have the option to take a rowboat excursion instead. By evening, head back to your hotel for your last night on the island.

Capri to Positano
After breakfast, you'll take the ferry from Capri back to the mainland. A coach then drives you along the Amalfi Coast to Positano, which is quite scenic. Once you check into your hotel, the rest of the day is open for you to look around this coastal village and get comfortable in the area.

Positano
Positano is yours to explore at your own pace today. The colorful houses stacked on the cliffs are what make this place distinctive, and Via Pasitea has narrow streets with terraces and gardens facing the bay. If you want to shop, Positano is known for straw handbags and handcrafted leather sandals. Spend the evening back at your hotel.

Positano to Rome
After breakfast, your transfer takes you to Naples train station at the scheduled time. You'll board a high-speed train heading to Rome and make your own way to your hotel once you arrive for one final overnight stay.
