Sydney to Newcastle
This morning you're heading to a wildlife park where you'll see koalas, kangaroos, emus and other animals. From there, you'll drive to the Hunter Valley for wine tasting, local cheeses and handcrafted chocolates. Later you'll arrive in Newcastle for a short tour and settle into your accommodation.

Port Macquarie

Port Macquarie to Byron Bay
Your morning includes a Gumbaynggirr First Nations experience where you'll hear stories, learn language and traditions from local people. Then you're off to Byron Bay to visit Cape Byron Lighthouse at the easternmost point of mainland Australia. You might spot whales (seasonal) or dolphins from the viewpoint.

K'gari (Fraser Island)
Today is a full day 4WD adventure on K'gari (Fraser Island). You'll do rainforest walks, swim in Lake McKenzie, see the S.S. Maheno shipwreck, drive along 75 Mile Beach and watch for wild dingoes. It's one of the highlights of the trip.

Brisbane to Airlie Beach

After breakfast you'll board the Red Cat Adventures Thundercat for a full-day speedboat tour. You'll visit Whitehaven Beach with a guided walk to Hill Inlet Lookout, then snorkel the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Back in Airlie Beach by evening, you can explore restaurants and bars or relax.

Mission Beach to Cairns
