Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your pickup from Arusha starts at 8:30 AM, and then you'll head straight into Tarangire National Park for the full day. This park has some incredible wildlife viewing, particularly along the Tarangire River where you can see elephant herds, lions, leopards, and cheetahs roaming around. The baobab trees scattered throughout give the landscape a really distinctive character. During the game drive, keep an eye out for buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and other animals moving through the park. By evening, you'll return to your camp or lodge in time for dinner, so you can rest up after a full day of driving and watching for wildlife.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast early in the morning, you'll head down to the crater floor at 6:30 AM for a 5-hour game drive through the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater itself is massive and holds a concentrated population of wildlife including African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions all in one place. Around midday you'll stop for a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool before starting the climb back up to the rim. The drive back to Arusha takes about 4 hours, and you should be at your drop-off location by 6:00 PM.
