London to Amsterdam
You'll meet your group in London and head southeast to the White Cliffs of Dover where you can see the dramatic chalk cliffs along the coast. From there, you'll take the ferry across the Channel to France, then travel through Belgium to reach Amsterdam by evening. After your included dinner, the city is open for you to wander around on your own and get your bearings.

Amsterdam
Today is yours to spend however you like in Amsterdam. Walk through the cobbled streets and along the canals, check out museums, or just soak up the café culture the city's known for. Try Dutch pancakes, frites, cheese, and stroopwafels from local spots. If you want something organized, there's an optional visit to the STRAAT museum or a day trip to Volendam fishing village, but exploring on your own is equally rewarding.

By evening, you'll have the option to join a wine tasting to sample what the region produces, or you can relax after the travel day.

This morning you'll travel south on Germany's 'Romantische Straße,' considered the country's most scenic route. You'll arrive in Dinkelsbuhl, a medieval town with cobblestoned streets, a vibrant market square, and half-timbered houses. There's a famous Gothic clock to see and traditional Bavarian culture throughout. Optional activities include a guided bike tour or visits to local beer halls if you want a more structured experience.

Landmarks Venice Lagoon - Day 6
Venice to Rome via Baschi
Leaving Venice, you'll head south toward Rome with a notable stop at Casale Polegri vineyard and olive orchard in Baschi. You'll meet the Polegri family, tour their property, and have an authentic Italian lunch with homemade wine while overlooking the Umbrian landscape. Later in the afternoon you'll continue to Rome, arriving in the evening where you can try gelato and pizza while exploring the city's ancient sites.

Rome to Florence
You'll travel north to Florence where the Duomo Cathedral rises above the skyline. There's also an opportunity to learn leather craftsmanship from local artisans. If you're interested, an optional Tuscan dinner is available this evening to try regional specialties.

You'll say goodbye to Italy and head north into Switzerland, traveling through the Swiss Alps toward Lucerne. The landscape changes dramatically with snowcapped peaks surrounding the city. Swans float under the famous wooden bridges, and the setting feels completely different from what you've seen so far. An optional lake cruise can take you out to view the Alpine scenery from the water.

Lucerne to Paris, France
You'll leave Lucerne this morning and cross back into France, heading to Paris. The drive takes you through varied landscape before you arrive in the evening. Your Trip Manager will point out city landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre, and Notre-Dame Cathedral. You'll have time to celebrate your first night in Paris and get oriented before settling in.

Paris to London
Your last morning in Paris starts with coffee and a croissant at a local café. Take time to think back on everything from London to the Swiss Alps to here. You'll get a complimentary transfer to CDG airport, or you can stay with the group on the coach for the journey back to London. The 12-day tour ends when you arrive in London.
