Itinerary
- Day 1
Riviera Maya to Mérida
Your hotel pickup happens early in Riviera Maya, then you'll head to Chichén Itzá to see one of the New Seven Wonders. A bilingual guide takes you through the Temple of Kukulkán, Ball Court, Temple of the Warriors, and Sacred Cenote. You get to swim in a nearby cenote to cool off after exploring. Lunch is regional Yucatecan food, and afterward a private transfer brings you to Mérida where you'll check into your hotel for the night.

- Day 2
Mérida
Today focuses on Uxmal, an ancient Maya city that shows off remarkable artistry and astronomy. You'll walk through the Pyramid of the Magician, Governor's Palace, and Nunnery Quadrangle with a certified guide who explains how the Maya designed everything. After touring, you get time to swim in a clear cenote surrounded by jungle. Then it's back to Mérida for the evening.

Mérida
Near Homenu, you'll explore Santa Bárbara by bicycle or traditional horse-drawn cart through peaceful jungle trails. Three to four cenotes appear along the way, some open to the sky and others hidden inside caverns. The water is turquoise and clear enough to swim, float, or just sit and take it in. Later you head back to Mérida to spend the night.

Mérida to Mexico City
You leave Mérida and travel by private transfer to Mérida airport for your flight to Mexico City (flight not included). After landing, another private driver meets you and takes you to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon and evening is open, so you can relax at the hotel, walk around nearby streets at sunset, or try out Mexico City's food scene on your own schedule.

- Day 5
Mexico City
Start downtown in the Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you'll walk across the Zócalo and see the Metropolitan Cathedral and Templo Mayor ruins. From there you move past Palacio de Bellas Artes and Alameda Central. Next is the National Museum of Anthropology where you'll see the Aztec Sun Stone, giant Olmec heads, and other pre-Hispanic pieces. A certified guide explains the history throughout. After, you return to your hotel or grab lunch at your own pace.

Mexico City
This day covers Mexico's spiritual side and ancient history. First you visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Latin America's most important pilgrimage site, checking out the Basilica complex and original 16th-century chapel. Then you head to Teotihuacán, called the 'City of the Gods,' where you walk the Avenue of the Dead and stand in front of the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon. Your expert guide shares stories about the people who built this pre-Aztec city. Later you return to your hotel to rest.

Mexico City
You'll see contemporary Mexico City today through a panoramic drive through La Roma and La Condesa, neighborhoods filled with art deco buildings, parks, and cafés. Pass by the Polyforum Cultural Siqueiros and its massive mural, then visit Ciudad Universitaria (UNAM), a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the Olympic Stadium and Central Library's iconic mosaic mural. Finally, reach Xochimilco where you board a colorful trajinera boat and drift through ancient Aztec canals past floating gardens, mariachis, and local activity.

Mexico City Departure
A private transfer takes you to Mexico City International Airport at your scheduled time for departure home. If you want to stay longer, flights to Cancun leave almost hourly. You can also look into the Colonial Treasures Program to see towns like San Miguel de Allende and Querétaro before heading out.
