Trier
Trier is Germany's oldest city and it's got serious Roman heritage. You can pick from several options today: a guided tour hitting the Roman Imperial Baths, Porta Nigra, and Emperor Constantine's Throne Room, or go for a Luxembourg wine tasting instead. If you're feeling active, there's a cycling tour around the city and its historic sites.

Koblenz
Cochem sits on the Moselle with half-timbered houses and Reichsburg Castle dominating the skyline. Pick your activity: a guided castle tour followed by time in the Old Town, a hike up to the castle, or cycling through town along the river. Later you'll sail along the Moselle, and by evening you'll arrive in Koblenz for an evening walk to stretch your legs.

Rüdesheim
The ship takes you through the UNESCO Rhine Gorge on the way to Rüdesheim. You've got choices here: a gondola ride above the vineyards up to Niederwalddenkmal Statue with wine tasting, a hike through the vineyards themselves, or biking along the Rhine to Schloss Johannisberg. If you want to stay onboard, check out Siegfried's Mechanical Instrument Cabinet or try a Rüdesheimer coffee made with brandy, coffee, and whipped cream.
