I've been raving about this tour experience since I've come home. I can't say enough about Collette staff and our tour director Michael, everything was excellent! The only hotel I was disappointed with was the one in Brugge, but understand it's a historic building so can't fault them. Bed was very comfortable and rooms are large.

We had a fabulous and engaging tour manager. Adorable! The tour was more than anything I had expected. The tulip gardens was a disappointment. I was expecting something different, going to the tulips fields and learning about the growing and harvesting the tulips for market and the bulbs for fall. this was a nice tulip garden. We saw nicer arrangements at Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris and even at the Olympic peninsula in WA the tulips fields were spectacular! The tulips gardens in Amsterdam were terribly crowded. I guess expected as we were all there to see the tulips. Otherwise, the trip was incredible, the hotels were perfect and all meals were special and delicious in every way. But the tour manager was the best ever!

My concerns are that I was not able to visit Rikjsmuseus, Van Gogh, Anne Frank house, Orsay because we were not advised to purchase tickets before our trip. These should have been optional at extra price. These museums are one of my main reason for taking this trip. I am very disappointed in Colette.

I chose this tour because it included Bruges, a dream destination. I had no idea how much I'd also love the entire trip and all the places we visited! The Explorations tour made it easier to get to know everyone in the group and allowed for uncrowded bus travel. There are so many memorable experiences! The informative and scenic canal boat tours in Amsterdam and Bruges, the many different glorious churches, the brilliance of Keukenhof Gardens and the stately windmills at Kinderdijk were just a few of the highlights. And the retro cars in Paris...and the Louvre...and well, you get the point!
