Arrival
Make your way to the hotel at your own pace. Your Holiday Director will be waiting there this evening to hold a welcome meeting and get everyone oriented for the trip ahead.

Cape Peninsula
Today covers the Cape Peninsula with plenty to see. You'll drive past the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range and take Chapman's Peak coastal drive, then stop at Cape Point and Boulders Beach where you can see the penguin colony. The route goes through Simon's Town before heading to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Later this evening there's an interactive djembe drumming session, and dinner features African cuisine.

Cape Town
This day is yours to plan. Head to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront if you want ocean and harbour views with restaurants and attractions, or if you're interested in local culture, there's an optional guided tour of Cape Town's oldest township available.

Cape Town to Oudtshoorn
You'll travel along Route 62, which happens to be one of the longest wine routes in the world. Stop somewhere along the way for a wine tasting, then continue to Oudtshoorn where you'll spend the night.

Oudtshoorn to Knysna
Start at Cango Caves and go down into the underground limestone caverns. After that, visit an ostrich farm to see these tall, curious birds up close. Then you'll head to Knysna, a town on the shores of a beautiful lagoon with ancient forests all around. The rest of the day is free time to do what you like.

Knysna
You have the full day to check out Knysna on your own. Browse the boutiques and shops, or head to the heads to see the two huge cliffs at the lagoon's mouth. If you want something more structured, there's an optional excursion to Featherbed Nature Reserve that includes a ferry crossing, guided forest walk, sea caves, and a buffet lunch.

Knysna to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) to Pretoria
Drive along the Garden Route toward Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha). Stop at Storms River Mouth in Tsitsikamma National Park to walk across the 77-metre suspension bridge. From there, head to the airport for a flight to Johannesburg, arriving in Pretoria for the night.

Panorama Route to Mpumalanga
Today follows the Panorama Route through South African scenery. You'll see the rainforest at God's Window, stop at Bourke's Luck potholes, and view Blyde Canyon. Travel ends in Mpumalanga, which sits right at the gateway to Kruger National Park.

Kruger National Park
Full day game drive in Kruger National Park. Wake up early and head out to explore the African bush. With some luck, you might spot members of the Big Five - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool with a cool drink.

Kruger National Park
The day is yours to relax or join optional game drives if you want more wildlife viewing. This evening, weather permitting, there's a Boma dinner - an outdoor meal around a fire featuring African barbecue, following one of South Africa's oldest traditions.
