Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo to Siwa Oasis
You'll leave Cairo early in the morning and head toward Siwa Oasis. The drive takes you through the desert, with a stop at El-Alamein where you can visit the WW II cemetery and museum to learn about the region's military history. After that, continue on to Siwa and check into your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and relax after the journey.

- Day 2
Siwa Oasis
Following breakfast, you'll explore several key spots around Siwa starting with the Mountain of the Dead, which contains ancient tombs carved into the rock. Then visit Cleopatra's Pool, a natural spring-fed pool surrounded by palm trees. You'll also see the Temple of the Oracle and stop at Bir Wahed, a sulfurous spring known for its mineral properties. As evening approaches, head out to camp in the desert on the shores of the Great Sand Sea where you'll spend the night.

- Day 3
Siwa Oasis
Start the day with a cruise around the Great Sand Sea, taking in the vast desert landscape. After that, return to Siwa Oasis and walk through the ruins of Shali fortress, the historic settlement that once protected the oasis. In the afternoon, you'll have time to swim in the salt lake before heading back to your hotel for the evening.

Siwa Oasis to Cairo
After breakfast, you'll begin the drive back to Cairo. The return journey takes about 12 hours, and you should arrive around 5pm. From there, you'll get a transfer to your chosen drop-off point in the city.
