Beijing
You'll arrive at Beijing Airport and get transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is completely open, so you can either rest and recover from the flight or take a walk around the nearby areas if you're feeling up to it. It's really your call on how to spend the evening.

Beijing
After breakfast, you'll head out with a guide to explore Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, where you'll walk through the former imperial residence from the Ming and Qing dynasties. By evening, there's a welcome banquet featuring Peking Duck, one of Beijing's signature dishes. If you're interested, there's an optional evening show you can attend as well.

Beijing
This morning you'll travel to the Great Wall and explore the Juyong Pass section, built during the Ming dynasty. From there, you'll visit one of Asia's largest jade exhibitions to learn about the stone. Later, you'll head to the Summer Palace, where you can see its lakes, gardens, and traditional palaces along Kunming Lake.

You'll start at the Temple of Heaven, an imperial complex where emperors once held annual religious ceremonies. Next, there's a session on ancient Chinese medicine and a foot massage at a traditional clinic to help you relax. In the afternoon, you'll have free time to explore on your own or walk along Wangfujing, Beijing's main shopping street. There's also an optional rickshaw tour through the historic Hutongs if you want to see more.

You'll take a high-speed train to Xi'an in the morning, traveling about 5 hours through the countryside. After arriving and checking in, you'll explore the Muslim Quarter, which is famous for its street food and cultural mix of influences. An optional evening show is available featuring Tang Dynasty music and dance, paired with a dumpling dinner if you're interested.

Xi'an
Today focuses on the Terracotta Warriors, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring thousands of life-sized clay soldiers made to guard Emperor Qin Shi Huang's tomb. You'll also check out a terracotta workshop where local artisans work, and then visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. If you want to continue in the evening, there's an optional tour of Datang Everbright City with dinner available.

You'll head to the train station and board a high-speed train to Shanghai, which takes about 6 hours. Once you arrive and check into your hotel, you can either relax or take a short walk around the neighborhood to get your bearings. There's an optional acrobatic show in the evening if you'd like something to do.

After that, you'll see Xintiandi, which features traditional Shikumen stone-gate houses alongside modern development. Optional museum tours and evening river cruises are available if you want to see more.
