- Day 1
Edinburgh
You'll arrive in Edinburgh and get settled into your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the city's charming streets at your own pace. This gives you time to get oriented and grab dinner somewhere local if you're feeling up to it.

Loch Ness - Fort Augustus
Head north from Edinburgh through Scottish landscapes, passing the iconic Kelpies and Stirling Castle along the way. You'll cross the Highland Fault Line into the Highlands, then travel through Rannoch Moor and Glencoe's dramatic valley before continuing beneath Ben Nevis. Later you'll reach Fort Augustus on Loch Ness where there's free time for lunch, a walk along the canal, or an optional Loch Ness cruise if you're interested. After that, it's the drive back to Edinburgh.

Scottish Borders & Hadrian's Wall
Travel along the old Roman Dere Street into the Scottish Borders and stop in Jedburgh to explore the 12th-century Abbey ruins. From there, head to Carter Bar at the Scotland-England border, then cross into Northumberland for a walk along Hadrian's Wall at Steel Rigg. On the return journey, you'll pass through Dumfries and Galloway, visiting the spa town of Moffat before heading back to Edinburgh past the Pentland Hills.

Highland Perthshire & Whisky
Cross the Queensferry Crossing toward Fife, then head north through the Lowlands into Highland Perthshire. You'll explore Dunkeld's cathedral and village streets, walk through the Hermitage woodland to Black Linn Falls, and have free time in Pitlochry to grab lunch. Next comes the Queen's View overlooking Loch Tummel and Schiehallion, then you'll visit Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery for an optional whisky tour and tasting or just to relax in the bar. The drive back to Edinburgh wraps up the day.

East Neuk & St Andrews
Start at the Forth Bridges Viewpoint where you can see three bridges spanning different eras. From there, cross into Fife and explore the East Neuk's fishing villages, stopping in Anstruther to stroll the cobbled streets and harbour. Continue to St Andrews for lunch and free time to visit the Old Course, explore cathedral and castle ruins, or try local ice cream. You'll finish in the royal village of Falkland with its palace and streets featured in Outlander before returning to Edinburgh past Loch Leven.
