Day 1
Baltra to Santa Cruz
You'll land at Baltra Airport and head over to Santa Cruz to check out the highlands, where you'll walk through lush Scalesia forests and explore those mysterious lava tunnels. After that, you're visiting the Fausto Llerena Tortoise Breeding Center to see giant tortoises in all their sizes, from the tiny hatchlings up to the really massive ones.

Day 2
Genovesa Island
This morning starts with a hike up Prince Phillip's Steps on Genovesa Island for views across the dramatic cliff landscapes and pristine beaches. Later in the afternoon, you'll head to Darwin Bay and walk through mangrove trails, where you can spot seabirds and watch playful sea lions hanging around in the tidal pools.

Santiago Island
Santiago Island gives you three different spots to check out during the day. Begin at Espumilla Beach for snorkeling and watching wildlife, then move on to historic Buccaneer Cove with its towering cliffs and pirate history. From there, finish up at Egas Port (James Bay) where you'll find more tide pools, grottos, and additional snorkeling chances.

Santa Cruz to Baltra Departure
Your final morning takes you to Bachas Beach on Santa Cruz's north shore where you can swim and keep an eye out for flamingos, sea turtles, and other coastal wildlife. After that, you'll transfer back to Baltra Airport and catch your flight to the mainland.

I just completed an incredible 8-day journey through the Galápagos Islands aboard the M/Y Angel — and it exceeded all expectations! The itinerary was perfectly balanced, covering iconic islands and hidden gems, with plenty of opportunities to explore both on land and underwater. The boat itself is comfortable and well-equipped, with spacious decks that allowed us to relax and enjoy the stunning views between excursions. The crew was professional, friendly, and always attentive — they truly made us feel at home. Our naturalist guide was outstanding — super knowledgeable about the islands’ unique wildlife, geology, and history, and always ready to answer questions. Thanks to their insights, each landing and snorkeling session was rich with meaning and discovery. Highlights included snorkeling with sea lions, turtles, and even penguins, walking among giant tortoises, observing blue-footed boobies and marine iguanas up close, and taking in dramatic volcanic landscapes. Every day felt like a new adventure! I highly recommend this 8-day cruise aboard the M/Y Angel for anyone seeking an immersive, well-rounded Galápagos experience. The memories from this trip will stay with me forever!

Payment information
- For any tour departing before January 6th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Royal Galapagos. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
