Itinerary
- Day 1
Venice
You'll arrive in Venice and get transferred to your hotel for check-in. After settling in, the day is open for you to do as you like. Walk around the cobblestone streets at your own pace, check out the Venetian buildings, pop into some local shops, or just sit at a café with an espresso and watch the city go by.

Venice
Following breakfast, a guide takes you on a walking tour through central Venice. You'll walk past St. Luca Square and Campo San Beneto, then see Palazzo Fortuny before reaching La Fenice Opera House. The spiral staircase at Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo is next, and from there you head to the Rialto Bridge. The tour wraps up with a gondola ride through the canals.

Venice
After breakfast, you have a flexible day to explore Venice however you prefer. If you want to venture out, there's a day tour option to Murano, Burano, and Torcello where you can see a 12th-century church, watch glass artisans at work, explore the colorful houses, and pick up handmade lace and souvenirs. Or stay in the city and wander on your own.

Venice to Rome
Following breakfast, you'll head to Venezia Mestre Station and catch a train to Rome. Once you arrive, you'll go straight to your hotel to check in. The rest of the day is free, so you can either take it easy or start getting familiar with Rome at your own pace.

Rome
After breakfast, an expert guide leads you through ancient Rome with priority access to major sites. You'll get to the Colosseum early to walk where gladiators once stood, then move through the Roman Forum. Next comes Palatine Hill, where you can see across the city from the top and get a real sense of how massive Rome once was.

Rome
You have the whole day after breakfast to explore Rome however you want. Wander through ancient ruins, check out the different piazzas around the city, or simply soak in the atmosphere with a gelato in hand and watch how the city moves around you.

Rome to Sorrento
Following breakfast, you'll make your way to Roma Termini Station and board a train heading to Naples. From Naples, you continue on to Sorrento, a coastal town that'll be your base. Once you check into your hotel, the evening is yours to relax, walk around town, or take in the views across the Bay of Naples.

Sorrento
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head out on a boat cruise along the Amalfi Coast. A skipper takes you from Sorrento, and you'll cruise past dramatic cliff faces and small villages perched on the water. You'll stop in Positano and Amalfi to walk through the streets at your own pace. If you're interested, you can also visit Ravello up in the hills above the coastline.

Sorrento
Following breakfast at the hotel, the day is completely yours. Relax by the water if you want, take a walk through Sorrento's streets and alleys, or do some last-minute shopping and try local restaurants. It's a good day to just take things slow and soak in the coastal feel of the area.

Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, you have a relaxed morning depending on what time your flight leaves. When it's time, you'll get transferred to the airport, ending your trip through Venice, Rome, and the Amalfi Coast with plenty of memories from your time in Italy.
