Tirana to Shkoder to Zabljak
Start in Tirana and drive north through Albanian countryside toward Shkoder, one of the country's oldest cities. Once there, head to Rozafa Castle for views overlooking Lake Shkoder, then check out the Shkoder Historical Museum set inside an Ottoman-era building. Spend some time walking through the Pedestrian Zone to browse local shops and get a feel for the city. After that, continue driving toward Zabljak in Montenegro's Durmitor National Park, arriving by evening to settle into this mountain retreat.

Zabljak to Sarajevo
Head out to explore Durmitor National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Start at Black Lake, one of the park's most beautiful spots, and take a walk around it at your own pace. Stop by the Durmitor National Park Visitor Center to learn about the area's biodiversity. Then drive through lush valleys toward Sarajevo, taking in the striking mountain views along the way. You'll arrive in Sarajevo by evening and can wander through the Ottoman-era Bašcaršija district with its cobbled streets.

Mostar - Kotor
Begin with a guided tour of Sarajevo's history. Walk through Bašcaršija Old Bazaar to browse traditional handicrafts and take in the local atmosphere. See the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, an Ottoman structure, and Latin Bridge, where the Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated. Check out the Sarajevo Tunnel Museum to learn about the city's resilience during the Bosnian War. Later, drive to Mostar to see the Stari Most bridge and Ottoman architecture, then continue to Kotor on the Adriatic coast.

Budva - Tirana
Explore Kotor's Old Town by walking through cobbled streets and visiting ancient churches. See St. Tryphon Cathedral, a Romanesque structure, then climb to Kotor Fortress for views of the town, bay, and surrounding mountains. Head to Budva, a medieval coastal town with a historic old town and beaches. Drive back to Tirana through coastal landscapes and scenic mountain roads, completing your 4-day journey through Albania, Montenegro, and Bosnia.
