Leh
You'll arrive at Leh Airport and get transferred to your hotel. Spend the day resting and letting your body adjust to the high altitude. If you're feeling up to it, there's an optional walk to Shanti Stupa in the evening where you can catch views over Leh, or check out Leh Market to browse local crafts and get a feel for the culture.

- Day 2
Leh
Start easy with a 30 km round-trip ride from Leh to Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery through Indus Valley. You'll ride past prayer flags, traditional Ladakhi homes, and mountain terrain. By afternoon you're back in Leh with time to rest however you want.

Leh
After breakfast, head into a moderate climb through dramatic mountain terrain heading toward South Pullu at about 4,600 meters/15,090 feet. Vehicle support follows along in case you need it. Once you reach South Pullu, you'll descend back to Leh for the rest of the day.

Leh to Nubra Valley
The big day arrives. After breakfast you tackle Khardung La at 5,359 meters/17,582 feet, one of the world's highest motorable roads. From the top you get sweeping views, then enjoy a thrilling 50 km descent into Nubra Valley. By afternoon, stop at Diskit Monastery before settling in for the night.

- Day 5
Nubra Valley
This is your flexible day in Nubra. Go for a relaxed ride to Hunder's sand dunes if you want something mellow, or if you're up for it, ride farther to Turtuk village near the Pakistan border. Vehicle backup stays with you the whole time, and the pace is yours to set.

- Day 6
Nubra Valley to Tangtse
You'll ride along the wild Shyok River today, which winds through all kinds of terrain from smooth sections to rough patches. The mountain landscapes keep shifting and the desert colors change constantly. Vehicle support stays nearby, and you're heading toward Tangtse settlement.

Tangtse to Pangong Lake
Head out from Tangtse for a moderate 35 km journey to Pangong Lake at 4,350 meters/14,270 feet. The ride shows off barren highlands, rocky outcrops, and alpine colors before you reach the surreal turquoise waters. Once there, spend time soaking in the quiet of the lake.

- Day 8
Pangong Lake
After several days of riding at altitude, relax by Pangong Lake's turquoise waters. If you've got energy left, there's an optional 10-15 km recovery ride toward the villages of Man or Merak along the shoreline. Otherwise just settle in and take in the Himalayan scenery.

Pangong Lake to Sakti
Prepare for one of the toughest sections. You'll ride 55 km over Chang La Pass at 5,360 meters/17,585 feet, where prayer flags flutter in the icy wind. The descent that follows is dramatic, dropping into the peaceful village of Sakti set in Ladakh's stark landscape.

Sakti to Leh
The final leg brings a gentler 40 km descent from Sakti back to Leh through scenic valleys and quiet mountain roads. On the way, stop and explore Chemrey Monastery or detour to Stok Palace to add some cultural stops before you finish the ride.
