Itinerary
- Day 1
Golden Circle Tour
You'll start early with pickup from central Reykjavik at 08:00 am for this 8-hour southwest loop. First stop is Þingvellir National Park where you can walk between the tectonic plates and see the rift valley spread out before you. From there, you'll head to Strokkur geyser and watch it shoot water up into the air roughly every 8 minutes, which gives you time to grab photos and reset between eruptions. Next comes Gullfoss waterfall, a two-tiered drop that's impressively powerful and worth the walk down to get closer. The final stop is Kerið, a volcanic crater lake with steep colorful walls that you'll circle on foot. You'll be back in Reykjavik by evening.
Included Activities
- Visit Strokkur geothermal area and observe boiling hot spring eruptions
- Visit Gullfoss waterfall
- Visit Þingvellir National Park
- Visit Kerið volcanic crater lake (entrance fee included)

South Coast Tour
Your south coast tour leaves central Reykjavik at 08:00 am and runs for 10 hours, so you're looking at a full day. You'll see Skógafoss first, a massive 60-meter waterfall that drops straight down and creates a lot of mist, then move to Seljalandsfoss where the path lets you walk right behind the water if conditions allow. After that, you'll drive to Reynisfjara black sand beach with its dark basalt columns towering along the shore and rough waves from the Atlantic. Later in the day, there's a short hike to the glacier snout of Sólheimajökull so you can see how much the ice has retreated and get a sense of the glacier itself up close. By evening you'll head back toward Reykjavik.
Included Activities
- Visit Skógafoss waterfall
- Visit Seljalandsfoss waterfall
- Visit Reynisfjara black sand beach
- Walk to Sólheimajökull glacier snout

Snæfellsnes Peninsula Tour
This 11-hour Snæfellsnes Peninsula tour picks you up from central Reykjavik at 09:00 am. You'll check out the fishing villages scattered along the coast, including Grundarfjördur, Arnarstapi, and Hellnar, each one small but with character. The landscape shifts between mountains, volcanic formations, and beaches, so you're getting a mix of different scenery. You'll see Kirkjufell, the cone-shaped mountain, and Lj6sufj6ll crater, walk across the black sand beach at Djúpalónssandur where you might find some old shipwreck remains in the sand, and get views of Snæfellsjökull glacier sitting at the peninsula's tip. There's plenty of driving time between spots, but the route shows off why people say this peninsula has most of Iceland's landscapes compressed into one area. You'll return to Reykjavik by late evening.

- Visit Grundarfjördur fishing village
- Visit Arnarstapi fishing village
- Visit Hellnar fishing village
- Visit Kirkjufell mountain
- Visit Ljósufjöll volcanic crater
