- Day 1
Hobart to Eaglehawk Neck
Start your Tasmanian adventure with a welcome meeting in Hobart at 11 am. From there, it's about 1.5 hours to Port Arthur Historic Site, where you'll explore the former convict settlement using an audio guide and take a short boat cruise around the area. On the way back, stop at Remarkable Cave to see the coastal rock formations and beach. By evening, you'll be settled into your waterside accommodation at Eaglehawk Neck, then join the group for dinner.

Tasman Peninsula - Hobart
After breakfast, spend the morning driving across Tasman Peninsula to check out Tasman Arch, Devil's Kitchen, and Tessellated Pavement, which all have interesting geological formations. Head back toward Hobart and spend time at Salamanca Markets browsing fresh produce and handmade items. In the afternoon, you'll participate in a bush tucker experience with NITA Education, a local First Nations organisation. There's a Welcome to Country ceremony followed by trying traditional foods while learning about Indigenous culture going back 50,000 years. Dinner tonight is your choice, with waterfront restaurants available nearby.

Mount Wellington - Hartz Mountains - Huon Valley - Hobart
Drive up to kunanyi / Mount Wellington for views across the city, mountains, forests, and waterways. Later, head into the Hartz Mountains wilderness for several short walks through this rugged landscape carved by ancient glaciers. Stop in Geeveston, a small township with forestry heritage, then continue to a cidery in the Huon Valley to learn about local apple farming history. You can taste ciders from this fourth-generation orchard if you'd like. Return to Hobart for your final evening.

Bruny Island
Take the ferry across to Bruny Island, one of Tasmania's most remarkable spots. Climb the 279 steps up to Truganini Lookout at The Neck to see sweeping views, learn about Indigenous history, and spot wildlife. Explore South Bruny National Park and see Cape Bruny Lighthouse perched above the Southern Ocean. Stop at local shops for tastings of oysters, honey, cheese, and beer made in the region. Wrap up with local beer and food pairings at a producer before heading back to Hobart, where your trip concludes.
