What our customers ask about this tour
The content in our FAQ section is subject to change.- SShirley Asked on August 20th, 2025We are 2 couples looking to book March 1, 2026. We would prefer private rooms with separate bathrooms. One person in our group needs a good mattress as he has a bad back. What sort of accommodation is the Secluded bush cabins and the Coastal Bungalows Motel? Food options - one member of our group is Celiac. Can you accommodate her and can the places we stay accommodate a person with Celiac? How many hours a day are we driving? How intense are the hikes? We are all active and walk daily though we would want to limit to flatter terrain and max. 7KM daily Wild Tasmania ToursOperator•Written August 2025 Wild Tasmania ToursOperator•Written August 2025- No problems regarding the Celiac. The 2 includes 2 meals, the rest are at cafes and restaurants. You will just have to ask for the gluten free options. Bush cabins: Basically a studio with a bathroom kitchen and queen bed over looking the bush. Coastal bungalow: Similar to the bush cabins but more like a little house. There are walks available for all fitness levels. Day 1 we are in and out of the vehicle all day. 4.5hrs. Day 2 Afternoon drive 3.5hrs. Day 3 A few 1hr drives 3hrs. Day 4 Afternoon drive back to Hobart 3hrs
- SShirley Traveler•Written August 2025We are mid 60's and 72 years old. Both have back issues though they are still walkers. Please let me know how many spots are still available for March 1 2026
Wild Tasmania ToursOperator•Written August 2025 Wild Tasmania ToursOperator•Written August 2025- Plenty of seats available but only the two private rooms. The 4 and 5 Day tours target young and young at heart / people with a moderate level of fitness. The first couple of days are big but followed by a couple of easier days. The 5 day tour has mostly 18-30 year olds and the 4 day tour 25-45 but there are people of all ages often a couple or two in their 60's on every 4 day tour

- PPatricia Asked on July 23rd, 2025How hard are the walks? Is this tour suitable for someone who can not walk many steps? Hikes up to 1/ 1,5 hour on a flat surface are no problem. Wild Tasmania ToursOperator•Written July 2025 Wild Tasmania ToursOperator•Written July 2025- Our tours are designed for people with a moderate level of fineness. Although we can offer Walks and activities for all, most of the group will aiming to do the bigger walks and hikes. Also some of the accomodation has stairs, so you will need to be prepared for that. In saying all this, if it's still suitable you are welcome to book. Walks range from 30 mins to 3hrs.

- TThomas Asked on June 27th, 2025We are a french couple with one 17 ado that likes hiking and discovering nature. We are flying to Tasmania outside from your tour agenda, from october 17 16:20 until october 21 11:30. Any fellow that could take us on a trip like yours? Wild Tasmania ToursOperator•Written June 2025 Wild Tasmania ToursOperator•Written June 2025- I have a 4 day tour departing on the 21st which is a guaranteed departure. If not, then we might be able to arrange something. Or we can open a 2 day cradle mountain tour for the 19th? Or we could do a private tour 3 days starting the 18th - Tasman Peninsular, Maria island, freycinet. Private tour price depends on accomodation level and what you want included but based on 3-4 star.
- TThomas Traveler•Written June 2025Can you send some more details on the 2 days and 3 days tour you propose?
Wild Tasmania ToursOperator•Written June 2025 Wild Tasmania ToursOperator•Written June 2025- If you are happy with a family room queen and single the regular 2 Day cradle mountain group tour would be $1,650 AUD depart on Sunday. If you would like a private tour with this itinerary it is $5,000 AUD on tour radar. we could depart on the Saturday.
