Itinerary
- Day 1
Copenhagen
You'll land in Copenhagen and get transferred to your hotel. The afternoon and evening are open for wandering around Strøget, the main shopping street filled with shops, bars, and cafes. It's a good way to get oriented and feel out the royal city's rhythm on your first day.

- Day 2
Copenhagen to Aarhus
After breakfast, join a guided canal tour that takes you past the Little Mermaid, Amalienborg Castle, and the historic harbour. You'll have free time to explore more of Copenhagen, then in the afternoon catch a bus to the ferry terminal. The combined bus and boat ride to Aarhus takes about 3.5 hours total.

Aarhus to Hirtshals
Start with breakfast, then wander around Aarhus at your own pace. This is Denmark's second largest city and served as European Capital of Culture in 2017, so there's plenty to see like the Romanesque-Gothic Cathedral if it interests you. Later, take the train to Hirtshals (you may need one or two changes). Check out the lighthouse there, then head to the Fjord Line Ferry terminal to board your cruise to Stavanger.

Stavanger
You'll arrive early morning in Stavanger and get transferred to your hotel. Later in the day, there's an optional Lysefjord Cruise to Preikestolen if you'd like to do that. Otherwise, the rest of the time is yours to walk around the city and get familiar with it.

- Day 5
Stavanger to Bergen
An early departure gets you to the port for your cruise to Bergen. Once you arrive, transfer to your hotel and grab lunch. Spend time at the fish market and walking through the Hanseatic quarter, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, ride the Floibanen funicular up Mount Floyen for views out over the city and surrounding landscape.

- Day 6
Bergen to Flåm
After breakfast, take the train to Voss followed by a shuttle bus to Gudvangen. From there, board a cruise through the Aurlandsjord and Nærøyfjord, both UNESCO sites and parts of the Sognefjord, known as the King of the Fjords. You'll get free time in Flåm village to wander around and check things out.

- Day 7
Flåm to Oslo
Board the Flåmsbana train after breakfast, one of the steepest railway lines anywhere. The route winds through dramatic terrain with steep mountains, waterfalls, and 20 tunnels. From Myrdal, continue by train to Oslo and then have the rest of the day to explore on your own.

- Day 8
Oslo to Karlstad
Breakfast at the hotel comes first. A guided three-hour coach tour takes you around Oslo's main sights including the Opera House, the Munch Museum, Akershus Fortress, Parliament, Karl Johan street, and the Royal Palace with informative commentary throughout. After that, head out to Karlstad, Sweden.

Karlstad to Stockholm
Travel east to Stockholm after breakfast. The Swedish capital sits on 14 islands between Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. Walk to your hotel, then spend the afternoon exploring. Check out Gamla Stan with its cobblestone streets and historic buildings, the Royal Palace, and gothic churches. There's also an optional canal tour, plus the Vasa Museum and Stockholm Pass if you want more attractions.
