You'll arrive in Amsterdam and get transferred to your ship to settle into your suite. After meeting other travelers at a welcome reception featuring fresh oysters and regional sparkling wine, you'll have dinner on board. The evening is yours to explore the city on your own if you'd like.

Amsterdam
This day in Amsterdam lets you choose what to do. You can take a glass-top boat canal cruise, try cheese tasting, join a guided bike ride, or visit Keukenhof Gardens if it's spring. Later in the afternoon, you'll head back to the ship in Utrecht as it starts cruising toward Germany.

Andernach

Rüdesheim
The ship cruises through the Rhine Valley with views of ancient ruins and vineyards covering the hillsides. Once you dock in Rüdesheim, you can choose between taking a gondola ride over vineyards to the Niederwald Monument, checking out a mechanical music museum, or tasting Rhine Valley wines in a historic cellar.

You'll dock in Bamberg, a World Heritage-listed city that survived World War II like Miltenberg did. A guide will take you through the Old Town to see historic churches and buildings, including the town hall right on the Regnitz River. After exploring, you'll return to the ship and cruise onto the Main-Danube Canal.
