Itinerary
- Day 1
Tromsø
You'll arrive in Tromsø and head to the meeting point between 9am and 12pm to drop off your checked luggage. After that, you'll board the ship as a group and get settled into your cabin. Dinner is served onboard, so you can relax after traveling and meet some of your fellow passengers. The expedition officially sets sail at 4pm.

Tromsø to Bear Island
The ship sails north from Tromsø toward Bear Island, heading into remote Arctic territory. You'll take Zodiac excursions to explore the rugged coastlines and steep cliffs up close. Millions of seabirds fill the area, and you'll likely spot black-legged kittiwakes, puffins, and little auks throughout the day. This part of the Svalbard Archipelago stays pretty isolated, so it's a real off-the-beaten-path experience.

Landmarks/POIs Bear Island - Days 4 - 5
South Spitsbergen
Your focus shifts to South Spitsbergen National Park, where dramatic fjords and glaciers dominate the landscape. You'll see the Hornsundtind massif and keep an eye out for bearded seals and polar bears along the ice. During Zodiac excursions, you'll get close-up views of snow-covered mountains and glaciers. Later, you'll visit Bellsund to check out historical sites and watch for more wildlife in the area.

Svalbard Archipelago
Over three days, you'll navigate the Arctic pack ice in search of polar bears, Arctic foxes, Svalbard reindeer, and sea mammals. The ship and Zodiac teams stay flexible, adjusting routes based on ice conditions and weather to maximize wildlife encounters. You might see large ice floes if you're traveling early in the season, or you'll cover more territory later on. Bird nesting colonies and glacier-filled fjords are also on the agenda throughout these days.

Svalbard
You'll continue exploring Svalbard's remote regions without a set itinerary, letting ice and weather conditions guide where the ship goes. The focus remains on finding polar bears as they hunt for seals and spotting Svalbard's smaller reindeer subspecies with their distinctive antlers. Arctic foxes are also part of the search, and this flexible expedition approach means you'll have the best chance of seeing what the region offers.

Landmarks/POIs Svalbard - Day 11
Longyearbyen
You'll have breakfast onboard before disembarking around 8am. After that, you'll transfer to Longyearbyen airport according to your flight schedule. If you're catching an early flight around 7:40am, a special early transfer option is available. By mid-morning, you'll be heading home with memories of your Arctic expedition.
