- Day 1
Arrival in Siem Reap
Your driver meets you at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport for the roughly 1 hour transfer to your hotel. Once you arrive and get settled in, the rest of the day is yours to relax or wander around the area.

Angkor Complex Temples
Start at 8:00 am heading out by tuk-tuk or private car to explore Angkor Thom's South Gate. From there you'll walk through Bayon temple to see the famous 200+ smiling faces carved into the stone, then continue on to Baphuon, Phimeanakas, and the terrace of the leper king. Grab lunch at a local restaurant, and spend the afternoon at Angkor Wat, the UNESCO World Heritage site. If you want, you can hike up Phnom Bakheng (about 25 minutes) for sunset viewing.

- Day 3
Phnom Kulen National Park
Leave at 8:30 am for Phnom Kulen National Park, roughly 57 km away (about 1 hour drive). This holy mountain has religious significance and great views of rice paddies and countryside. You'll stop at Preah Dak village to watch locals make traditional steaming-rice cakes with coconut milk, then see the giant reclining Buddha on the hilltop and explore 1000 linga carvings in the riverbed. Relax by the waterfall before heading back to Siem Reap in late afternoon, with a stop at the palm sugar village and local handicraft shops along the way.

- Day 4
Tonle Sap Lake & Local Experiences
Depart at 8:30 am for countryside sightseeing, starting with a visit to a local market. Take a boat through Kompong Phluk village on Tonle Sap Lake to see floating houses on high poles, fishing activities, and vendors selling from boats. You'll also paddle by canoe through the mangroves looking for waterbirds. Back in Siem Reap, have lunch at a Khmer wooden house restaurant, then spend the afternoon at Artisan Angkor checking out wood and stone carving work. Browse the old market for handicrafts and souvenirs, and if interested, visit the Royal Residence Garden. Later that evening, watch a traditional Apsara dance performance with Khmer set dinner or buffet.

Departure from Siem Reap
You have free time in Siem Reap before departure. Your driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby and take you to Siem Reap Angkor International Airport for your flight.
