Itinerary
- Day 1
London to Amsterdam
You'll meet your Contiki group in London and board the coach for the start of your European adventure. The route takes you to the White Cliffs of Dover where you can take in the iconic chalk coastline before crossing the Channel by ferry to Calais. From there, the coach heads toward Amsterdam for your first night. Once you arrive, you'll get to wander around the canal-side streets with all the bicycles and those beautiful illuminated 17th-century gable houses lining the water. There's an optional evening canal cruise available if you want to get to know your crew better on the water.

By evening you'll arrive in a charming wine town where you'll stay the night, and you can spend some time getting a feel for the local atmosphere.

Rhine Valley to Munich
You're heading out of the Rhine Valley toward Munich, but there's a stop planned in a charming Bavarian medieval town first. It's got cobblestoned streets, market squares, and those half-timbered houses that make you feel like you've stepped back in time. Once you reach Munich, a local guide takes you around the city to see the famous Glockenspiel with its mechanical figurines. That evening, you'll experience 800 years of Bavarian history at a traditional beer hall, which is a great way to soak in the local culture.

Munich to Venice
The coach departs Munich and drives through the Bavarian Alps toward Austria. You'll stop in Innsbruck for lunch, a relaxed student city with a medieval old town, the Olympic Ski Jump, and the Royal Palace to check out. After lunch, you continue to Trento for dinner in the charming Adige Valley. Later that evening you arrive in Venice and get settled in, ready to explore the city fully tomorrow.

You can take a traditional gondola ride, try learning how to gondola yourself with expert instruction, or join a guided food tour to discover Venice's local flavors.

The evening ends with panoramic views from the 56th floor of Montparnasse Tower.

That final evening, there's an optional dinner followed by the Moulin Rouge show if you want to celebrate together.
