Itinerary
- Day 1
Cusco
Your guides will be waiting at Cusco airport to pick you up and drive you to the hotel. After settling in, you'll have time to walk around Cusco's downtown area near the main square and check out the cobbled streets. This first day is really about getting your body adjusted to the high altitude, so take it easy and don't overdo things.

- Day 2
Cusco to Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes
Guides pick you up around 7:30am and head to Sacred Valley Lookout Point for views of the valley. From there you'll drive to Pisaq market where locals sell textiles and fresh vegetables. The Pisaq Inca archaeological site sits on top of Pisaq Mountain and you'll explore the ruins before heading to Urubamba for lunch on your own. After lunch, continue to Ollantaytambo, the old Incan town, and then get to the train station to catch the afternoon train to Aguas Calientes. Your guides will take you to the hotel once you arrive.

Machu Picchu
This is your day at Machu Picchu with a guided tour of the lost city. If you want something extra, there's an option to pay more for a challenging hike up Huayna Picchu, which gives you the best views and photos of the whole site. After exploring, you'll take the bus down to Aguas Calientes and then hop on the train back to Cusco. Your guides will meet you and take you to the hotel for the night.

Landmarks Machu Picchu Huayna Picchu - Day 4
Maras Salt Mines, Moray Ruins & Peruvian Cooking Class
Guides pick you up around 8am and drive to Maras to see the famous salt mines with their distinctive white terraces. Next is Moray, where you'll find three coliseums that the Incas likely used as an open-air laboratory for growing different crops at different altitudes. Around 1pm you'll return to Cusco for an authentic cooking class where you'll prepare lomo saltado and have a traditional Pisco sour to drink.

Rainbow Mountain
An early pickup at 4am means you'll drive for 3 hours to the trailhead while Ausangate Mountain stays in view the whole way. After a 2.5 hour hike, you'll reach Rainbow Mountain with its colorful mineral striped peaks. You get time to explore and take photos, then hike back down over about 2 hours. Your driver will have lunch waiting during the ride back to Cusco.
