Itinerary
- Day 1Marrakech to Dades GorgesYour drive starts early through the High Atlas Mountains, heading toward Tizi n'Tichka Pass where you'll stop for photos and see traditional Berber villages scattered across the hillsides. From there, you'll explore the UNESCO-listed ksar of Ait Benhaddou with a local guide who can explain the history and architecture of this clay fortress. After lunch, continue through Ouarzazate and wind through the Skoura palm grove, then reach the Dades Valley by evening where the dramatic rock formations and ancient kasbahs create a striking backdrop for your overnight stay. - Meals

- Day 2Dades Gorges to MerzougaToday follows the 'Road of a Thousand Kasbahs' with stops in Tinghir to walk through the town's Jewish heritage sites and terraced gardens. You'll head to the Todra Gorges next, where 300-meter canyon walls rise on both sides and you can either walk deeper into the gorge or spend time by the stream. By late afternoon, you'll arrive at Erg Chebbi in Merzouga for a sunset camel ride into the Sahara, then settle into a desert camp for the night with traditional music and dinner under stars. - Meals

- Day 3Merzouga to FesAfter watching sunrise over the dunes, your camels bring you back to Merzouga village for breakfast. Then you're in for a long scenic drive to Fes, passing through the Ziz Valley's palm groves and crossing high plateaus near Midelt where apple orchards line the road. The Cedar Forest near Azrou comes next and you might see Barbary macaque monkeys there. You'll pass through Ifrane, which has an alpine feel and is sometimes called the 'Switzerland of Morocco,' before arriving in Fes for the evening. - Meals

- Day 4Fes to ChefchaouenAfter breakfast, a local guide takes you walking through Fes's ancient medina, showing you the Royal Palace gates and walking through Al Quaraouiyine University, which is the world's oldest university. You'll see the colorful tanneries where leather is dyed the traditional way, visit Bou Inania Madrasa, and wander through artisan quarters. Lunch happens in the medina, and then you drive to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. This evening you can stroll through the blue-painted streets, browse local crafts, or head to the Spanish Mosque viewpoint to catch the sunset. - Meals

- Day 5Chefchaouen to CasablancaAfter breakfast in Chefchaouen, you drive to Rabat, Morocco's political capital. You'll visit Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Oudayas Kasbah which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. From Rabat, continue on to Casablanca, the country's modern hub, and check into your hotel for a quiet evening. - Meals

- Day 6Casablanca to MarrakechStart with breakfast before heading to Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, dramatically positioned right on the Atlantic coast where you can see it from the water. You'll drive back to Marrakech after, and depending on your flight or drop-off time, you might have time to see Bahia Palace, Madrasa Ben Youssef, Koutoubia Mosque, and Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. Your tour ends with a transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport or drop-off at your hotel or riad. - Meals
