    Lima

    You'll arrive in Lima and meet your guide at the airport for the transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day taking it easy and letting your body adjust to Peru. Later, head out for a welcome dinner featuring traditional Peruvian cuisine.

  2. Day 2

    Lima

    This morning, start a guided tour through Lima's historic centre. You'll see the Huaca Pucllana pyramid, then walk through the colonial architecture of the historic downtown area, which is recognized by UNESCO. The combination of ancient ruins and colonial buildings gives you a real sense of the city's layered history.

    Start at Moray, where you'll see the circular agricultural terraces that the Incas built. From there, head to the salt ponds at Maras, then move on to Ollantaytambo to walk through the Inca ruins and the Temple of the Sun. By evening, you'll reach Aguas Calientes.

    Cusco

    Spend the day in Cusco exploring the mix of Incan and Spanish colonial heritage. You'll walk around the Plaza de Armas and go inside the Convent of Santo Domingo to see Incan architecture. Later, visit Sacsayhuaman ruins and participate in a traditional Quechua ritual led by a Shaman.
