Itinerary
- Days 1 - 2
Arrival in Windhoek
You'll arrive in Windhoek after your overnight flight and get transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your own pace, getting settled and walking around to get a feel for the city.
- Day 3
Windhoek to Sossusvlei
Start with a drive-by tour of Windhoek, stopping to see Alte Feste fortress, the 1896 Christ Church, and the modern Supreme Court building. Then head out through desert landscapes toward Sossusvlei. By evening, you'll have dinner right in the desert as the sun goes down and stars come out.

Sossusvlei and Namib-Naukluft Park
Get up early to arrive at Sossusvlei at sunrise and see Dune 45 surrounded by orange sand. After exploring, grab a picnic lunch at Deadvlei, then walk through the 30-metre-deep Sesriem Canyon carved by the Tsauchab River. Follow the path upstream where you'll find a pool for a swim.

Sossusvlei to Swakopmund
Travel north through desert scenery with a packed lunch stop along the way. You'll reach Swakopmund, a coastal resort founded in 1892 where the desert meets the ocean. Spend time on a city tour learning about this historic port town and its role in German South West Africa.

Walvis Bay Cruise and Sandwich Harbour
Take a Walvis Bay cruise looking for whales, dolphins, mola, leatherback turtles, and seals around Pelican Point and its seal colony. Have fresh oysters and sparkling wine on board. Later, jump into a 4x4 and head to Sandwich Harbour to spot flamingos and salt pans, finishing at a sand dune viewpoint.

Swakopmund to Brandberg Mountain
Head into Namibia's northwest to Brandberg Mountain, sacred to the San people for thousands of years. Walk through Tsisab Gorge to see San rock paintings including the famous White Lady, over 2,000 years old. Watch for mountain zebra, kudu, springbok, and desert elephant in the area.

Brandberg to Etosha National Park
Travel to Etosha National Park and stop at a Himba village to meet residents and learn about their semi-nomadic culture, traditions, and way of life. Then head to your lodge, have lunch, and spend the afternoon relaxing before the day ends.

Etosha National Park Safari
Spend the full day on safari throughout Etosha National Park with 144 animal species across diverse habitats. You'll see lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, giraffes, and many birds gathering at springs and waterholes around the Etosha Pan.

Etosha to Windhoek
Travel back to Windhoek and stop at the AfriCat Foundation to learn about their conservation work with lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Later, visit the Okahandja wood carving market to chat with artisans, many from the Herero tribe. This evening, gather for a final group dinner reflecting on your time in Namibia.
