Keflavik to Reykjavik
You'll land at Keflavik airport and catch an individual Flybus shuttle to your hotel in Reykjavik. If your flight gets in early, there's time to walk around the capital and get a feel for the city before settling in for the night.

Reykjavik to Westfjords
Meet your guide early and head west into Iceland's volcanic past. You'll climb around Grábók crater, a 3,400-year-old formation with great views across the valley, then check out the Viking settlement at Eiríksstaðir where they've built a replica longhouse to show what life was like back then. Þingmanna á Waterfall comes next before you arrive in the fishing village of Patreksfj0r0ur for a two-night stay.

Westfjords
The Westfjords have plenty to see today. You'll start at Rau0isandur beach, where the sand has this distinctive red and turquoise coloring. After that, the Hnj0tur Folk Museum gives you a local history break, then it's off to Látrabjarg's seabird cliffs where puffins hang out in summer. You'll pass the Gar0ar shipwreck on the way back to Patreksfj0r0ur for the evening.

Westfjords to Isafj örður
Start the morning at Dynjandi waterfall, which drops in these incredible tiered cascades. From there, you'll travel along the coast to 0nundarfj0r0ur pier overlooking a golden beach, then swing through Flateyri village to see the Old Bookstore dating back to 1914. The village's 1995 avalanche history and protection efforts are covered before heading to Isafj0r0ur for a two-night stay.

Ísafj örður
Climb up to the steel viewing platform on Bolafjall mountain for dramatic views over the sea and fjords. The 0sv0r Maritime Museum, set in a restored fishing hut, teaches you about 19th-century rowboat fishing. Walk through Su0ureyri village, and there's local seafood available (note it's excluded summer 2026). You'll have free time in the afternoon to relax in Isafj0r0ur, or pick optional activities like an ATV tour or head to Vigur island for puffin watching.

The drive along Isafjar0ardj0p fjords offers chances to spot whales. You'll visit the Saltverk salt factory run on geothermal energy, then head to the Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft in H0lmav1k to see old grimoires and magical artifacts. Later, you'll transfer to Vogur Country Lodge near Breí0afj0r0ur Bay for the night.

West Iceland to Reykjavik
Head back toward Reykjavik with scenic stops along the route. You'll see Hraunfossar, where glacial water flows through lava creating these lava waterfalls, and spend time at a local farm to meet Icelandic horses. The afternoon focuses on Reykjavik itself, walking through the city's history and checking out the main landmarks.
