The combination of local city tours in Reykjavik and small guided tours to the Golden Circle and South Coast gave us an incredible variety of memorable experiences. The hotels were good, and also well-located to accommodate tour pick-ups and sight-seeing. The staff at Marina Travel were helpful in making sure we had detailed itineraries and also suggested activities for any free time we had in Reykjavik. They courteously and promptly answered the questions we had when planning the tour, including helping us add on an additional night in Reykjavik. The tour guides did an excellent job driving us to and preparing us for all the experiences and activities. They always responded to any of my questions really fast and helped along the way.The best part of the trip was 3 days tour outside Reykjavik. Glacier climbing, ice caves, Northern Lights, waterfalls - you can see everything that Iceland is about. The only thing that I didn't like is the Hop on Hop off "sightseeing" tour. I don't like Hop on Hop off to begin with. I would prefer a tour with a local guide. Plus, Hop on hop off in Reykjavik is a little strange because it takes few minutes to walk from stop to stop.Show moreTrip date: November 2022

If you have visited before I'd suggest a more in depth exploring of a particular feature, next time i want to climb the volcano. Additionally, an upgrade to superior accommodation can certainly be arranged, subject to availability at the time of booking. To prepare a quote for the upgrade, could you kindly confirm the clients' travel details: starting on November 2, for 2 adults? Additionally, please let us know whether they prefer 4-star or 5-star accommodation. As a note, 5-star hotels are generally located in Reykjavik or its surroundings. During the South Coast portion of the trip (a 2-day tour), the accommodation provided is in a 3-star hotel or countryside guesthouse, which unfortunately cannot be upgraded. However, the remaining nights in Reykjavik can be upgraded as requested.

Asked on July 10th, 2025I am planning to travel to Iceland begging of August, and found this option to spend 7 days and see as much as possible. Let me know how comfortable for the single traveler and how cold is there, since i am coming from very hot area

The beginning of August is still the middle of summer, so it is fairly mild weather, by Icelandic standards. Usual daytime temperatures are 10°C to 15°C (50°F to 59°F). Rain is also quite common, so you can expect some showers. Also note the long daylight, around 16–18 hours of daylight. Regarding clothing, you should have layers (thermal base layer, fleece, waterproof/windproof outer layer). This helps you easily regulate your temperature.

The shuttle from Keflavik to Blue Lagoon, if the Blue Lagoon add-on is selected during the booking process or added afterwards, has the following departure schedule: 07:30, 09:30, 12:30, and 14:30. In the case your flight does not align with any of these options, we could quote you for an upgrade to a private leg of transfer from the Airport to Blue Lagoon, so that we can customize the time of pick-up for you.
