Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Lisbon
You'll land at Lisbon Airport and head to your hotel for check-in after 3:00 PM. The rest of the day is yours to settle in, take it easy, or wander around on your own if you're not too tired from traveling.
- Day 2
Lisbon - Belém - Cascais - Cabo da Roca - Sintra
After breakfast, you'll go to the Belém district to see Jerónimos Monastery and Belém Tower, then stop at a traditional bakery to try Pastel de Belém. From there, you'll head along the coast to Cascais for lunch and free time, visit Cabo da Roca (Europe's westernmost point), and finish the day in Sintra where you can walk around the historic center.

Lisbon
This is your free day in Lisbon to relax and explore however you like. If you're interested, optional tours are available to join, but you're not obligated to do anything.

- Day 4
Lisbon to Évora to Marvão
You'll have breakfast and then travel through the Alentejo region to Évora, a UNESCO site. There you'll visit the Roman Temple of Diana, the Cathedral, Church of São Francisco, and the Chapel of Bones. Later, you'll do a wine tasting at Cartuxa Winery before heading to the medieval village of Marvão, which sits at 860 meters with incredible valley views.

Marvão
Starting with a visit to Lagar Museu Melara Picado Nunes to learn about olive oil traditions and do a tasting. Then you'll tour a local winery in a vintage World War II jeep through the vineyards, learning about winemaking and terroir. You'll finish with a tasting that includes cheeses, cured meats, and regional bread. You'll be back at your hotel by early afternoon with free time.

- Day 6
Marvão to Historic Villages to Belmonte
You'll explore historic villages in Portugal's interior, starting at Idanha-a-Velha with its Roman and medieval roots. Next comes Monsanto, known as Portugal's most typical village with its granite buildings and medieval castle where you'll have lunch. The day ends in Belmonte, birthplace of explorer Pedro Álvares Cabral, where you'll see the castle and pantheon.

Belmonte to Serra da Estrela
You'll drive the scenic Zêzere Glacial Valley road to Serra da Estrela. At the Burel Factory in Manteigas, you'll learn about traditional wool production. Then you'll go to Sabugueiro, Portugal's highest village, with stone houses and mountain views. The day ends at Torre da Serra da Estrela at 1,993 meters for panoramic mountain views.

Belmonte to Piódão to Coimbra
You'll visit Piódão, one of Portugal's most recognizable historic villages with distinctive schist houses on mountain slopes. You'll see the Igreja Matriz with its gilded altar, Fonte dos Algares, Chapel of São Pedro, and the Piódão Museum Center. After that, you'll head to Coimbra to visit the University of Coimbra and its library, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Coimbra to Aveiro to Porto
Departing at 9:00 AM, you'll head to Aveiro for a traditional moliceiro boat ride through the canals with Art Nouveau architecture all around. You'll have free time to explore Aveiro's streets. Note that from December to February, the boat tour may be replaced with a visit to the Vista Alegre Factory Museum due to weather. In the afternoon, you'll continue to Porto, known for Port wine and beautiful architecture.

Landmarks/POIs Aveiro - Day 10
Porto
A panoramic tour starts at 9:00 AM from Serra do Pilar lookout, where you'll get sweeping city views. You'll see the Douro River, traditional rabelo boats, historic bridges, and the colorful Ribeira district houses. Then you'll visit a traditional Port wine cellar for a special tasting. After the tour, you can return to your hotel or stay in the historic center and head back on your own time.

Departure from Porto
