Itinerary
- Day 1
Venice
You'll arrive in Venice and head to your hotel to drop your bags. Depending on when you get in, there's time to either rest or start exploring. Later, you'll board a private motorboat that takes you through the Grand Canal. Your guide will point out the city's highlights as you cruise past the Giudecca Canal, and you'll see the churches of Redentore and San Giorgio Maggiore from the water.

- Day 2
Murano - Burano - Venice
After breakfast, you'll get on a boat to explore the Venetian lagoon, sailing past Lido, Certosa, Vignole, and Sant'Erasmo before reaching Murano. There you'll watch someone create glass right in front of you at a studio, then check out the 7th-century Cathedral of Saints Maria e Donato. About 30 minutes later you'll arrive in Burano to walk through lace workshops and wander the colorful streets. By evening, you'll return to Venice with complimentary wine included.

Venice to Florence
You'll take a high-speed train from Venice to Florence, which takes roughly two hours. Once you arrive and settle into your hotel, you'll get a 24-hour hop on hop off bus pass. This lets you explore the city however you want, stopping at museums and monuments at your own pace.

Florence
This day is yours to spend however you'd like in Florence. If you want structure, there's an optional full-day excursion to Tuscany that includes Pisa, San Gimignano, and Siena. That option comes with a guided tour through Chianti vineyards, lunch, and wine tasting.

Florence
You'll have another free day in Florence to wander and discover on your own terms. Or you can choose from several optional activities like visiting the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo's David, the Uffizi Gallery, or heading to Cinque Terre for the day. There's also countryside options including Vespa tours or horseback riding if that appeals to you.

Pompeii - Naples
You'll board a high-speed train to Naples and check into your hotel. From there you'll head to Pompeii for a guided tour of the archaeological site. You'll walk through preserved streets, see thermal baths, the Basilica, frescoes in the Lupanare, the Macellum, and the House of the Faun, all buried by Mount Vesuvius back in 79 AD.

- Day 7
Naples
You'll transfer to the harbor and take a boat to Capri, a Mediterranean island with turquoise water and nice views. In Anacapri you can visit Villa San Michele or ride the chairlift up Mount Solaro. Then you'll head to Capri's Piazzetta to check out boutiques and local shops. Before heading back, you'll browse the Augustus Gardens with views of Faraglioni and Via Krupp. A hydrofoil brings you back to Naples by evening.

Naples
After breakfast you'll start driving along the Amalfi Coast with an experienced driver navigating those winding roads that seem to curve right along the cliffs between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Lattari Mountains. You'll stop at scenic viewpoints to take photos of Sorrento and Positano. Then you'll visit Amalfi and Ravello, with time to walk the pedestrian streets in Amalfi, browse shops and restaurants, check out the beach, and see the iconic cathedral.

You'll make your way to the train station and take a high-speed train to Rome. After you arrive and get to your hotel, you'll hop on an open-top panoramic bus with eight stops along the route. Your 24-hour ticket lets you get on and off whenever you want, and there's audio commentary onboard to help you learn about what you're seeing.

Rome
After breakfast, depending on your flight time, you might have some time for last-minute shopping or just relaxing before your transfer to the airport. If your flight's early, you'll head straight out, but if it's later in the day there's a chance to explore a bit more or grab one final meal.
