- Amanda· November 4th, 2019I was really impressed by this tour as I was unsure what to expect of a traditionally "party focused" company doing an African safari. I have to say I was blown away. This is a very different type of Contiki with local guides and drivers who are professional and friendly as well as being open and knowledgeable about local culture and customs - plus the animal and landscape knowledge. We saw four of the big five on our first game drive and while the animals seen is beyond anyone's control, it was an incredible experience. We were blessed with sun and rain and the team made sure we didn't miss out on anything, even when it rained. There are plenty of game drives to give you the best chance of seeing as much as possible. The vehicles are comfortable and everyone gets a window seat. The accommodation exceeded my expectations and the staff at each lodge or camp were exceptionally helpful and friendly. This is the perfect trip for anyone wanting to see the animals of Africa (especially elephants and giraffes) and the scenery of East Africa, including the elusive Mt. Kilimanjaro.Show more
