Cologne
You'll board the AMADEUS in Cologne and get settled into your cabin. Spend some time checking out the ship at your own pace, then head to the Welcome Cocktail and Welcome Dinner. The festive mood kicks off as the ship departs for Koblenz during the night.

Koblenz
The ship arrives in Koblenz where the Mosel and Rhine Rivers meet. A guided walk takes you through cultural landmarks, including several UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Back on board, you'll cruise through the Middle Rhine Valley and pass Lorelei Rock as the day continues.

Speyer
You arrive in Speyer before breakfast and join a guided tour of this former imperial town. Wander through the traditional Christmas market for some festive atmosphere, then participate in decorating the ship's Christmas tree with carols. A magical Christmas dinner follows on board. If interested, attend Christmas mass at Speyer Cathedral after dinner before the ship heads out late.

Lunchtime brings you to Strasbourg in the Alsace region. Walk through the half-timbered houses and charming streets to soak in French character. An optional afternoon sightseeing tour shows you the city's highlights, then you'll return to the ship in the evening as it heads toward Mainz.

Mainz
The ship arrives in Mainz at midday, the largest city in Rhineland-Palatinate. Explore the city on a guided walk and visit the Gutenberg Museum to see collections about printing, books, and writing history. Later, the captain hosts a festive Gala Dinner on board before the ship heads back to Cologne.
