- Day 1
Bilbao
You'll arrive in Bilbao and have the rest of the day to settle in at your own pace. If you get there early, the Guggenheim Museum is worth checking out before the welcome meeting. At 6pm, head to the hotel reception to meet your tour leader and the group.

San Sebastian - Bilbao
After breakfast, you're heading to Getaria to see how they make traditional anchovies and taste some local products. Then it's on to San Sebastian where you'll climb Monte Urgull for views over the coast and wander through the old town's pintxos bars. Lunch is Basque tapas, and the afternoon is yours to walk La Concha promenade, relax on the beach, or take the funicular up Monte Igueldo. You'll head back to Bilbao by early evening.

Laguardia - Camino de Santiago - Pamplona
You're traveling south to La Rioja Alavesa for a bodega visit where you'll learn about Rioja wine and taste reds and whites after seeing the cellars. Lunch is in Laguardia, a medieval hilltop village. From there, you'll visit the 12th-century Church of Saint Mary of Eunate and walk a 2 to 3 kilometre section of the Camino de Santiago from Obanos to Puente La Reina. You'll arrive in Pamplona by early evening.

- Day 4
Zaragoza
This morning is relaxed before you join a local expert for a food tour of Pamplona. You'll visit the central market to sample regional cheeses, cured meats, and seasonal items while learning about local traditions. After that, you have time for more sightseeing before heading southeast to Zaragoza. You'll take an orientation walk there and see El Pilar Cathedral with its mix of Roman and Mudejar architecture.

Next, you'll ride the rack railway up to Montserrat, a dramatic mountain range with jagged peaks and a Benedictine abbey. You'll explore the monastery and watch the sunset over Catalonia.

During the class, you'll learn how to select ingredients and get the socarrat (that golden crust) just right. Later, you'll have your farewell dinner with the paella you made.
