I would add an extra day in San Ignacio (Belize), especially for those interested in exploring Mayan ruins, and I think it would be interesting if we had the option to start the tour in this country instead of Mexico. I liked Intrepid's approach to reducing ecological impacts and also offering a homestay in Guatemala, contributing to the development of a local community and helping us have a more immersive experience in the country.Show more

Special mention to TANIA ROBLES our tour guide. She was very helpful and went out of her way to assist in the group's varied requests. Tania also helped me when I had trouble getting home due to visa issue. Thankfully she was still in Antigua but not working but she was an angel in getting me flights etc. Can't wait for next trip.
