Istanbul
Your journey to Istanbul begins as you arrive and transfer to your hotel. This evening you'll meet your guide and the rest of your group, so there's time to settle in and get oriented before dinner.

Istanbul
After breakfast, a guided tour takes you through Istanbul's major sights. You'll see the Blue Mosque with its distinctive tiles, walk through the St. Sophia Museum, and explore Topkapi Palace including the Hagia Irene and the Harem. From there, check out the Hippodrome and wander through the Grand Bazaar's maze of shops. If you're interested, an optional Bosphorus dinner cruise is available later this evening.

Istanbul to Canakkale
You'll head to Gallipoli to visit the battlefields and memorials that mark this significant historical ground. The day includes stops at Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, The Nek, and Johnston's Jolly, along with time in the original trenches and tunnels. After taking in these sobering locations, you'll drive to Canakkale for the night.

Canakkale to Istanbul
Rise well before sunrise to attend the ANZAC Day Dawn Service, a moving ceremony honoring fallen soldiers. Later, you can choose to attend either the Australian or New Zealand Memorial service before making the drive back to Istanbul.
