Itinerary
- Day 1
Bangkok
Your flight lands at Bangkok airport, and from there you'll be transferred to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to relax and recover from travel. You'll stay overnight in Bangkok.

- Day 2
Bangkok to Khao Yai
Following breakfast, you'll head out to Khao Yai National Park with a stop at the fruit market in Klang Don along the way. Once there, you can walk the Haew Suwat waterfall trail through Thailand's first national park. Lunch is something you'll arrange on your own. Later you'll check in at your hotel in Khao Yai for the night.

- Day 3
Khao Yai to Korat
After breakfast, the drive north takes you to Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat), stopping at Dan Kwian pottery village and the memorial of Thao Suranari along the way. During the afternoon, you'll see the archaeological sites at Ban Prasat and then visit Phimai historical site where you can see Prasat Hin temple and a massive ficus tree. You'll return to Korat by evening with some free time.

- Day 4
Korat to Surin
You'll travel to Buriram and climb the large staircase up to Prasat Phanom Rung, one of the best preserved Khmer temples in Thailand. From there, Muang Tham is the next stop, another Khmer site located near an artificial lake with impressive gopuras and brick towers. Later, continue on to Surin and walk through the national museum to see exhibits on regional history and local ethnicities. You can arrange lunch on your own sometime during the day.

Surin to Kong Jiam
After breakfast, visit Ban Khwao Sinarin Argentiere village and Khmer Sikhoraphum temple with its 5 towers. Next, stop at Ban Sam Kho, a traditional village where silk production happens in almost all the stilt houses. You'll then check out Kamphaeng Yai, an 11th-century Khmer site with 6 buildings and Hindu deity sculptures. Later, continue to Kong Jiam on the Mekong River. Lunch is on your own.

Kong Jiam to Nakhon Phanom
After breakfast, travel to Mukdahan, a border town with Laos, and browse its lively market filled with products from Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, and China. From there, head to Nakhon Phanom to see Wat Phra That Phanom, one of the most important temples in the Isan region with its distinctive Laotian architecture. Stop by Ban Na Chok village where Ho Chi Minh lived between 1923 and 1929. You'll check in at your hotel by the Mekong River.

- Day 7
Nakhon Phanom to Udon Thani
After breakfast, travel to Sakhon Nakhon and take part in a sacred thread ceremony with a monk. Continue to Ban Chiang, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its pottery and weaving traditions plus archaeological significance dating back over 3,500 years. You'll see bamboo weaving at Dong Yen Village and pottery painting at Baan Pulu. In the afternoon, transfer to Udon Thani and take a boat trip on Talay Bua Daeng (Red Lotus Sea) lake. Overnight in Udon Thani.

Udon Thani to Bangkok
After breakfast, visit an orchid farm that grows the endemic Udon Sunshine variety. Head to Nong Khai, a border town with Laos, and explore Sala Kaew Ku sculpture park featuring Buddhist and Hindu-inspired sculptures some reaching 25 meters high. Visit Tha Sadet market where you'll find Indochina crafts and products. Later, return to Udon Thani to catch your flight back to Bangkok.
