She was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and geology of the region, but also made the tour super engaging. Her passion for the area truly shone through, and she made sure to personalise the experience, answering all of our questions with great detail and enthusiasm. She took us to the most stunning spots, from the mesmerising fairy chimneys to the hidden gem of Lake Tuz. She always remained flexible, ensuring that we were happy with our activities. Seda was most patient and accommodating, even when we wished to tweak our itinerary. She even went out of her way to ensure all of the Turkish foods and delicacies we researched were experienced at different spots. She made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the tour. All of our individualized needs were met. If you’re planning a trip to Turkey, I can’t recommend her enough. She truly made our visit unforgettable! - Anita· July 6th, 2023Thanks for the tour to Cappadocia from Istanbul. I had asked prior to going on the tour if I could be back to IST airport for a fight out at 1410. I was told I would have time, but after collecting luggage in the domestics airport and running through the International air port I missed my flight which was not an easy thing to fix. Allowing only 1 hr between a domestic and an international flight is not enough time. I would have liked an earlier flight out even if I had to pay a little extra for and earlier departure time. The hot air balloon ride, hotel accommodation, and scenic tour were fabulous. Myself and others on tour didn't enjoy the stops at the pottery, jewelry and carpet places this should only ever be an optional item and not a must see. - HGHeather· July 1st, 2023It was a great tour but came across very disorganized. We would find out the day before when pick up was and it didn’t follow the days as laid out in the tour. We ended up going with a tour guide that said he was just asked to provide the tour for us at the last moment- I booked in February??? - last moment???. We were told we would have lots of time to meet connecting flights - my friend missed her connection and had to fork out another $400.00????♀️????♀️????♀️. We were told to be ready for departure the last day between 0840-0850- we were ready at 0830 but the transportation arrived at 0911. The hotel was great - Under Cave Hotel and the hot air balloon ride is a 100% MUST!!! I did not appreciate going to the high pressure sales locations ( guides are told they must take the tourists to at least 1). We went to only 2 the first day although the guide tried to talk us into 3, and fortunately only 1 the next day. The first day on our way back to our hotel (only the two of us), I asked if we could stop at a Starbucks but my request was ignored????♀️????♀️. Overall, my recommendation is to take the tour - see and do lots but, insist on leaving earlier (departure from one of the airports) and have at least 2 hours between your landing in Istanbul and takeoff of your international flight. Have the option to tour the high pressure sales locations (rugs, jewellery, pottery) not Have to go. Mr Yagiz was also kind and gentle during the whole booking process. On the other side, our hotel in Cappadocia was incredible! The staff is very efficient and warm hearted. And then our driver, and our tour guide, were extremely nice, polite and friendly with us. Mr Deniz, the guide, has a wide and deep knowledge of the history of the whole Cappadocia area… We were very lucky to have them as our tour leaders. We cannot thank them enough. We are so pleased we went to Turkey… everything we did, we tried and saw was more than we expected.
