Bergen
You'll arrive in Bergen, Norway's second largest city, and head straight to your hotel for a two-night stay. The city sits surrounded by seven hills with colorful houses lining the streets, giving it that classic Hanseatic port character. It's a nice blend of historic charm and modern conveniences, so after checking in you'll have time to get oriented.

Bergen
Today you'll dig into Bergen's medieval side and visit Troldhaugen, the former home of composer Edvard Grieg. For the rest of your day, you'll pick between two options. You can take the funicular up Mount Flyen for views out over the city and fjords, or head by tram to see Fantoft Stave Church, a 12th-century reconstruction that's pretty unique to Norway.

Bergen to Lofthus
Heading east toward Hardanger Fjord, you'll cross the Hardanger Bridge, one of the world's longest suspension bridges. From there you'll reach Lofthus, a tiny village with views of the Folgefonna glacier. The hillsides here are known as the orchard of Hardanger and fill with white blossoms in spring, then fruit-laden trees in summer. You'll spend the night with dramatic fjord views.

Lofthus to Oslo
The drive takes you through Hardangervidda, Europe's highest mountain plateau where Norway's largest wild reindeer herd roams. After that you'll head to Oslo, the capital on the southern coast, for a two-night stay. It's a modern, diverse city with forests and fjords surrounding it and some excellent museums. If you want, there's an optional backstage tour of the Opera House with a rooftop wine experience.

Oslo
You'll spend today exploring the Bygdoy Peninsula to see Viking history and Norwegian maritime traditions. The Kon-Tiki Museum covers Thor Heyerdahl's epic sea voyages, and the Fram Museum has the legendary Fram Polar Ship. If you're interested, you can also visit the Munch Museum with an art specialist to see over half of Edvard Munch's paintings, including The Scream.

After transferring to the airport, you'll fly to Stockholm, Sweden's capital built across 14 islands connected by 57 bridges. It overlooks the Baltic Sea with graceful architecture and greenery throughout. You'll check into your hotel for a two-night stay in this city that has a reputation as one of Europe's most beautiful capitals.

Stockholm
A local guide will help you explore Stockholm's key sites including City Hall with its golden Three Crowns spire, Riddarholm Church, and the Royal Palace. Come evening, you'll have dinner featuring Swedish cuisine with European influences.

Copenhagen
This day covers Rosenborg Castle, a Renaissance country summerhouse from 1606 with 400 years of royal magnificence, art treasures, and crown jewels. You'll also visit the courtyard at Amalienborg Palace, home to Queen Mary and the Danish Royal Family. Later you can either take a scenic canal cruise to see Christiansborg Palace, the Black Diamond Library, and the Little Mermaid statue, or explore Tivoli Gardens. Wrap up with a farewell dinner at one of Copenhagen's top restaurants.

Your land portion ends here as your yacht cruise begins in Copenhagen. The city itself has plenty to explore, known for its architecture, art, history, and food scene. It's also recognized for sustainable living and is one of the world's best cities to get around by bike if you want to check that out.

Travemünde
The yacht arrives at Travemunde on Germany's Baltic coast, a charming seaside town blending maritime history with coastal elegance. You can stroll the lively promenade, check out historic sailing ships, or just take in the coastal atmosphere.

Kiel Canal
Today the yacht sails through the world's busiest man-made canal traveling from the Baltic Sea to the North Sea. You'll have a chance to meet the Captain and crew on the bridge for some of the best views. If that's not appealing, you can relax in the Observation Lounge with specialty teas and coffee, or find a cabana by the Sky Bar to watch dozens of ships pass by.

At Sea to Amsterdam
You'll have a relaxing day at sea before arriving in Amsterdam this afternoon. Start with breakfast on your private verandah or at the Yacht Club. By afternoon you'll be positioned right in the heart of the city to explore the canals and historic landmarks.

Amsterdam to Honfleur
The yacht cruises through the English Channel heading to Honfleur, one of France's favorite seaside towns on the Normandy Coast. You'll enjoy coastal views during the crossing, and the yacht will dock for an overnight stay so you can spend real time here. On board you can explore curated artwork including pieces by Francois Bertrand and installations by British graffiti artist Carl Hush.

Honfleur
Honfleur is one of France's prettiest ports where the River Seine meets the English Channel. The 17th-century waterfront has colorful tile-clad buildings filled with boutique shops, cafes, and restaurants. You can walk the same streets where Claude Monet and his mentor Eugene Boudin once painted, then visit the Museum Eugene Boudin to see their work and that of their contemporaries.

Later as the yacht sails out, you can choose from fine dining options: Elements for steak and seafood, Koko's for Asian cuisine, or Lumiere for French.

Lisbon

You'll have one last breakfast on the Discovery Yacht before saying goodbye to the crew and fellow guests. It's the end of your journey from Scandinavia to the Iberian Peninsula.
