Oslo to Longyearbyen
A flight takes you from Oslo north to Longyearbyen, sitting high above the Arctic Circle on Svalbard's main island. Once you're aboard the Scenic Eclipse, you'll meet the captain and crew, settle into your suite, have welcome champagne, and get to know other guests.

Svalbard Archipelago
You're now in the remote Svalbard Archipelago with glaciers, frozen tundra, and mountain peaks all around. The Discovery Team gives you an intro about the Zodiac boats and explains what the guided excursions will look like over the next several days.

Svalbard Archipelago
Daily excursions by Zodiac, kayak, and on foot let you explore Svalbard's wilderness. You'll have binoculars or Swarovski telescopes to watch for Arctic wildlife like whales, foxes, seals, seabirds, reindeer, wolverines, and Arctic rabbits.

Svalbard Archipelago
More days exploring Svalbard with the Discovery Team, which includes about 20 experts like geologists, historians, ornithologists, marine biologists, and glaciologists. They give photography tips and wildlife guidance during Zodiac cruises around ice formations.

Greenland Sea Crossing
The Scenic Eclipse crosses the Greenland Sea today. Onboard you can use the spa, gym, or yoga studio, dine at specialty restaurants, or relax. The Discovery Team gives lectures recapping what you've seen and what's coming at the next ports.

Ittoqqortoormiit, Greenland
You visit Ittoqqortoormiit, one of Greenland's most isolated towns with about 350 people. A guided tour takes you through the museum, church, weather station, and public service building. You'll get your passport stamped here as a keepsake.

Scoresbysund comes into view, the world's largest and deepest fjord system where many Greenlandic glaciers were born. The Captain and Discovery Team leader work together to plan flexible sailing based on conditions for the best possible experience.

Scoresbysund, Greenland
You navigate through Scoresbysund's 350-kilometre length and 600-metre depth, seeing towering icebergs drifting and calving from glaciers. Join tundra hikes searching for muskoxen and Arctic foxes, or take Zodiac cruises to spot walruses, seals, and whales.

Scoresbysund, Greenland
Another day in Scoresbysund shows off towering cliffs, icebergs, vast glaciers, and mountainous landscape. You'll have chances to spot musk oxen and Arctic hares moving through their natural environment.

Exiting Scoresbysund
Exiting the Scoresbysund fjord, you can wake on your own schedule and have breakfast brought to your suite while you watch from your private verandah. Spend time at the 550-square-meter Senses Spa getting treatments from wellness therapists.

At Sea to Akureyri
The day brings spa treatments, Discovery Team lectures recapping your journey, and theatre performances. By evening the Scenic Eclipse arrives in Akureyri, Iceland for an overnight stay.

Vigur Island, Iceland
Vigur Island is a private island just below the Arctic Circle with 11th-century history and traditional eiderdown farming. You'll explore charming buildings while seeing 7,000 breeding eider ducks, 100,000 puffins, Arctic terns, large black guillemot colonies, seals, and passing whales.

Dynjandi Waterfall, Iceland

An amphibian vessel takes you out on Jökulsárlón, Iceland's largest glacial lagoon. You'll see majestic icebergs up close, taste 1,000-year-old ice, and spot seals. Later at Diamond Beach's black sand, you'll see massive ice blocks glisten like diamonds.

Golden Circle
The Golden Circle route starts at Thingvellir, where Iceland's nationhood was established. Then comes Gullfoss, the iconic Golden Waterfall dropping 31 metres with 100,000 litres per second. You'll finish at Haukadalur's geothermal area where Strokkur geyser erupts every 8 to 10 minutes up to 30 metres high.

Reykjavik & Reykjanes Geopark
Back in Reykjavik for one night, you visit Reykjanes Geopark where the Mid-Atlantic ridge rises above ocean, showing volcanic and geothermal features. In the afternoon you'll soak in Sky Lagoon's hot waters from the 70-metre infinity edge pool while taking in panoramic views of Hafnarfjordur.
