- Day 2
Buenos Aires to Ushuaia to Beagle Channel
This morning you'll take a charter flight from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. From there, you board your luxury yacht and set sail through the Beagle Channel, passing snow-capped peaks and Patagonian wilderness as you head toward Antarctica.

Drake Passage
After breakfast in your suite, the yacht continues through the Drake Passage toward Antarctica. You'll meet your expedition team and go over the Zodiac, helicopter, and submarine excursions planned ahead. They'll fit you with your polar gear including parka, boots, and trekking poles, and walk through the day's biosecurity requirements.

Antarctic Waters
You'll wake to see icebergs from the Observation Deck for the first time. Spend the morning looking for whale activity with your expedition team nearby to answer questions. Later, check the daily schedule for boot fitting and biosecurity briefings, then join a lecture about Antarctic marine life and seabirds.

Antarctica
From your verandah suite, you'll see icebergs and glacial mountains stretching across the water. This is prime time for birdwatching—look for wandering albatrosses, shearwaters, and giant petrels. Your Captain and expedition leader will plan excursions based on weather conditions, so activities vary day to day.

Antarctica

Drake Passage
The yacht heads back across the Drake Passage toward South America. Start your morning with a workout in the gym, or join a guided Pilates or yoga class. Reflect on your Antarctic experiences throughout the day, then head to the Scenic Lounge Bar in the evening for whiskey, wine, or Champagne.

Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls
You'll fly from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls this morning, arriving at one of the world's largest waterfalls by volume on the Brazil-Argentina border. About 80 percent of the falls are on this side, so you'll walk multiple pathways threading between upper and lower tiers to get closer to the cliff face. Head to the lookout for views of Devil's Throat, the largest and most powerful waterfall, and feel the sheer force of the water.
