- Day 1
Thessaloniki
You'll arrive at Makedonia airport and get transferred to your hotel in Thessaloniki. After you settle in, the afternoon and evening are open for you to wander around the city at your own pace. It's a good time to get your bearings and maybe grab dinner somewhere nearby.

- Day 2
Thessaloniki
This morning you'll check out Thessaloniki's main sights, starting with the UNESCO-listed Agios Demetrius Church and then walking through the atmospheric Old Town. From there you'll see the Arch of Galerius and head to the White Tower. Later you'll visit the Archaeological Museum to see findings from the Venizelos Metro Station, and then spend time along the scenic waterfront where you can stop by the Alexander the Great Monument.

Dion - Mount Olympus - Litochoro
You'll start by exploring the ancient city of Dion with its temples, mosaics, and ruins, plus the archaeological museum on site. After that you'll head to Mount Olympus and go up to Stavros refuge for the views. In the afternoon you'll walk through the charming village of Litochoro, and you'll have free time for lunch or a short hike if you want through the scenic Enipeas Gorge.

- Day 4
Pella - Edessa - Winery
You're heading to Pella first, the ancient capital of Macedonia and where Alexander the Great was born, to see its mosaics and ruins. Then it's on to Edessa, the City of Water, where you can see the famous waterfalls and rivers. After lunch on your own, the day winds up at a winery where you'll taste Xinomavro wine and learn about how Greek wine is made.

You'll visit two of the best-preserved monasteries to see the frescoes, icons, and museum collections while learning about monastic life over the centuries. Later you'll have lunch in the scenic village of Kalambaka with those big cliff formations all around you.

Veria - Aigai (Vergina)
Starting at Saint Paul's Bema in Veria, where the Apostle preached, you'll then head to Aigai (Vergina), the ancient capital. You'll spend time at the Museum of Aigai and see the UNESCO-listed Royal Tombs of Philip II, Alexander's father, with their golden treasures and artifacts. After that you'll have a break in Vergina village to grab lunch or take a walk, and if you have time you can also explore the ruins of the Royal Palace.
