Asked on February 11th, 2025Is it possible to leave luggage somewhere in Kathmandu? We arrive on the 28th of March in Kathmandu. We are unsure, if we should book the tour starting on the 28th or the 29th, as we need to buy some hiking equipment before the trek starts. Do we have enough time to go shopping, when we book the tour starting on our arrival day?

Better to start a trip on 29th march so if you need to buy equipment that's better. If you arrive 28th about afternoon it will be enough time to buy everything the trek shop is very close to the hotel thamel area so enough time.

Is there a chance to stay an extra day somewhere to adjust if I am sick if I am on a group tour? If not, what happens to group members who become unwell on the trip? We are flexible with dates and have read that March/April is a good time. What would you suggest as the best date to start the trek in the Spring months and do you have availability?

I'm planning to go in a group, without someone I know, do you think this is nice or do you recommend signing up with more people than one? With the twin-sharing rooms, can you give a preference for gender? How long before the Trek do you recommend to book? I was looking at the booking link and it said for all dates there where 10+ places available, but that doesn't seem logical to me (because then no one's booking), do you know how this is possible? For preperation I was thinking about: exercise, buying mountain-hiking stuff, potential vaccinations, booking flights, booking this Trek. Do you think I'm forgetting something?

Yes we recommend to signup. If you want to share a room ladies, ladies and boys boys with shared. Better to book as soon as possible at least 3 months before. Possible to book some day 2 People some days 3 People we have more that 1000 package we can't edit so every trip 100% departure every day. Preparation Checklist: Exercise cardiovascular fitness, strength training, endurance hikes. Mountain Hiking Gear quality trekking boots, waterproof clothing, backpack, sleeping bag, trekking poles. Vaccinations consult healthcare provider about altitude sickness, hepatitis and typhoid. Flights book international and domestic flights early. Trek Booking secure reputable guide or tour package. Additional Considerations: Travel Insurance covering trekking and evacuation. Permits Annapurna Conservation Area Permit and TIMS. Acclimatization Plan rest days. First Aid Kit with altitude sickness medication. Cash Nepalese Rupees for local expenses.
