Itinerary
- Day 1
Vienna - Bratislava - Budapest
You'll get picked up at your Vienna hotel this morning and start with a guided tour of the city. The tour takes you through St. Stephen's Cathedral, Hofburg Palace, Heldenplatz, and the Vienna State Opera. After that you'll have free time to grab lunch on your own. Later in the afternoon, you'll head to Bratislava where you'll walk through the Old Town, see Michael's Gate and St Martin's Cathedral, and have the option to go up the UFO Observation Deck. Dinner happens in Bratislava or during the transfer, then you'll drive to Budapest for the night.

- Day 2
Budapest
Following breakfast, you'll meet your guide for a 3-hour city tour of Budapest with a local expert. Then comes the Danube river cruise where you'll see Parliament and cross the Margaret Bridge. On the Buda side, you'll walk up to Fisherman's Bastion and view Matthias Church from outside. From there, Gell\u00e9rt Hill gives you panoramic views for photos, and later you'll cross the Elizabeth Bridge and travel along Andr\u00e1ssy Avenue toward Heroes' Square.

Budapest
After breakfast, the day is yours to wander Budapest however you'd like. If you want structure, there's an optional half-day tour to Szentendre, a charming town about 40 minutes north along the Danube with Mediterranean vibes and galleries everywhere. The optional tour includes a guide-led walk and time at the Marzipan Museum, with return to Budapest by boat or bus depending on water levels and the season.

Budapest - Arad - Timișoara
Following breakfast, you'll meet your guide at the hotel and head into Romania by crossing the border at Arad. There you'll do a brief walking tour seeing City Hall Palace, the Palace of Culture, the Red Church, and the State Theatre. Time might allow for lunch at a local spot before driving to Timi\u0219oara for your overnight stay.

Timisoara - Corvin Castle - Sibiu
After breakfast you'll walk through Timisoara's Old Town on a guided tour, seeing the Turkish and Austro-Hungarian architecture that defines the area. Next you'll visit Corvin Castle, which is one of Europe's largest Gothic castles with plenty of history to explore on your own time. In the afternoon you'll travel to Sibiu where another guided walking tour shows you the Old Town and explains why it was named the 2007 European Capital of Culture.

Sibiu - Bran Castle - Peles Castle - Bucharest
You'll start early and travel toward Bucharest, stopping at two famous Transylvania castles along the way. First is Bran Castle, known as Dracula's Castle, where you'll learn about the real Vlad Dracula and the 14th-century fortress itself. After that you'll head to Sinaia to see Peles Castle, a well-preserved 19th-century royal residence. Then you'll continue on to Bucharest for your overnight stay.
