Fantastic adventure! I did this trip alone and it was wonderful, I recommended for anyone travelling alone or with friends/adult family! You will meet a lot of great people, eat wonderful food, se landscapes masterfully crafted through 1000 year's of history. My communication with team at Euroadventures have been great, fast response, easy to understand and a great aid to fall back to if any uncertainty arose. Multiple days on one location make it easy to take in all the new impression that I got, they give you a good amount for free time so I never felt stressed and they give you further recommendations for extra activities that you may want to do. I did a lot of food tasting trips on the evening and museum walking. I lived in hostel's and hade a great experience, you have to lower your expectations (not a hotel) and understand your living with others so it might be a bit noisy but I made new friends and got great memories that I wouldn't get from a hotel.

Wanted to give it one star at first, but thankfully the tour worked out alright with lots of pre planning every night. Tour agent only informed that there would be NO tour guide 4 days before the actual trip, saying the other group pulled out. So this trip became a solo trip in the end. Itinerary was ONLY emailed out 1 day before i flew off and it all seems too last minutely pieced together. The saving grace was it was at least emailed out before the actual day. This really came as a shock to me as i booked with tour radar a tour to achieve a peace of mind, so i can enjoy the tour without much pre-planning an worrying about where to go for the next city. But it ended up being such a source of stress 4 days before the trip as there are no tour guides so i had to solo navigate my way through inter country connections and hopefully won't get lost. It was my first trip to Europe so it was really many stressful moments of navigation hoping i won't miss a connection or board or alight at the wrong stop or train station. The accommodation was good for 2 out of the 3 cities. One of the cities' hostel felt like a jail with no place to move, creaky beds and no lockers. Didn't help when someone actually vomited onto another person in my room. So to help those with booking for future trips, BE WARNED this could end up being a SOLO trip with NO GUIDES unless you have a group of 5 or more. To those uncomfortable with this fact, DO NOT BOOK this operator unless you want to experience the stress i did before i flew.

    Asked on July 6th, 2025

When in Krakow, how long is the walking tour in the morning and in the afternoon? Also, is it a long walk to get to the meeting place for the afternoon walk?

    Tour Details
    • EuroadventuresOperatorWritten July 2025

The walking tours are around 2 hours each and Krakow is a flat city so you won't be going up and down hills. The meeting point for the morning walking tour is around 10 minutes or so from the accommodations, and the afternoon walking tour starts in the Jewish quarter which is around 20 minutes or so on foot. Taxis are incredibly cheap as well so if you wanted to take a taxi (Uber or Bolt) to the Jewish Quarter it would cost only around 3-4 Euro and take around 6-7 minutes. As well, you're of course free to leave the walking tours at any time if you get tired or bored and want to do your own thing.

How much is the single supplement?

    Price / Availability
    Single supplement
    • EuroadventuresOperatorWritten February 2025

For the Best of the East trip, it would be a 600 Euro supplement over the twin/double price. So just under 70 Euro per night (as single rooms cost similar to a twin/double room). And that is for the 3-star hotel option and with breakfast each morning.

What are my options? Can I substitute another person, get a credit or go solo? Will there be fees?

    • EuroadventuresOperatorWritten December 2024

That would be fine to substitute another person. The trip is non-refundable since it was booked during the special promo sale. A date change would be fine however if that helps.

    • EuroadventuresOperatorWritten December 2024

You can change the names of travelers up until around 2-3 weeks before the trip. Since those are simply for hotel and ticket registrations it's possible to be pretty flexible with that.

Could I switch from a 2 person to a one person vacation and choose a different destination without penalty? Does that company have any other Eastern European regions to tour as a single?

    • EuroadventuresOperatorWritten December 2024

Yes that could be possible to switch trips or packages to a single package. What I might suggest is keeping the Best of the East but as a single package and then adding on Warsaw at the end.
