Itinerary
- Day 1
Budapest
You'll arrive in Budapest and head to your accommodation in the historic city center at your own pace. Later this evening, there's a 1-hour boat cruise along the Danube where you can see the city's architecture as the sun sets. After that, the night is yours to spend however you like, whether that's checking out the ruin bars, hopping on an optional party boat, or catching a live classical music concert.

Budapest
After breakfast, you'll join a guided walking tour starting at 10am that covers St. Stephen's Basilica, Elisabeth Square, the Chain Bridge, the Parliament building, and the Shoe Memorial. You'll grab lunch, then cross over to Buda Hill where the tour continues through Fisherman's Bastion, Matthias Church, the Royal Castle, plus the city's oldest residential street and the Jewish District with its historic synagogue. Your evening is free to explore on your own.

Budapest
Today's completely yours to structure however you'd like. Many people head to either Szechenyi or Gellert thermal baths to relax in the thermal pools and saunas. You can also arrange an optional beer spa or massage if that interests you. The evening is free, so you've got plenty of time to wander the city at whatever pace suits you.

Budapest to Prague
After breakfast, you'll depart Budapest and travel through Slovakia, passing through Bratislava on the way into the Czech Republic. The drive takes roughly 7 hours, and you'll arrive in Prague during the afternoon. Once you've checked into your accommodation in the city center, you'll have some free time. Around 6pm, there's an included 1-hour boat cruise along the Vltava River, and then your evening is open for exploring pubs, live music venues, or other nightlife options.

The tour takes you through Gothic and Art Nouveau architecture, hitting Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, the Cubist House of the Black Madonna, the Philharmonic concert hall, Rudolfinum, the Jewish Quarter, and the Old-New Synagogue. Once the tour ends, the rest of your day and evening are free.

Prague
Following breakfast, you'll cross the Charles Bridge to the Lesser District side of the city with your guide. From there, you'll walk to the John Lennon Wall and St. Nicholas Church before heading up to Prague Castle, the world's largest castle complex. You'll tour through Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral, finishing at a viewpoint that overlooks the entire city. The rest of the day and evening are yours to do as you please.

After breakfast, you'll pack up and head out toward Krakow, traveling through the Czech Republic into southwestern Poland. The journey takes about 6.5 hours, and you'll arrive in late afternoon. Check into your accommodation in the city center and spend the evening however you'd like, whether that's trying vodka tastings, hitting up live classical music, exploring the vibrant bar scene, or joining a pub crawl.

An early morning transfer will take you to Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. A film and guided tour are included, providing historical context about this significant site where 1.5 million people, including Jews, Poles, Gypsies, and prisoners of war, were murdered during the Holocaust. You'll return to Krakow in the late afternoon, leaving your evening free.

After breakfast, you'll join a walking tour of Krakow's historic center starting at Rynek Glowny main market square, then moving through St. Mary's Basilica with its trumpet story, Jagiellonian University where Nicolaus Copernicus and Pope John Paul II studied, and Wawel Castle, Poland's most sacred site where Polish royalty are buried. Following lunch, the tour continues into the Jewish Quarter of Kazimierz, covering the Jewish Ghetto, locations from Schindler's List, Poland's oldest synagogue, the Jewish Cemetery, and the Holocaust Memorial. Your evening is free.
