Syracuse - albeit that we only had a few hours there. Catania - on the last day - not on the official tour. The fish market and the cafes. The only time that we had to sit and relax.

I loved everywhere, but especially Villa Romana in Piazza Al Marina with the wonderful frescoes, the 2 famous churches in Palermo, Erice, Ortygia and Cefalu, especially the Greek theatre, despite Cefalu being so noisy and crowded. Mt Etna.

If there is a last minute change of venue, you would be accommodated in the same or higher standard hotel and always with other tour members.
