Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
Your guide picks you up around 8 am from your hotel to start the day in Giza. You'll walk through the pyramid complexes of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, with time to stop for photos from the panoramic viewpoints. From there, you head over to see the Great Sphinx and check out the Valley Temple before breaking for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you spend the afternoon at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization looking at pottery, textiles, ornaments, and other artifacts that show different periods of Egyptian history. By evening, your guide takes you back to your hotel.
